Ugandan army presence in South Sudan extended for four months

KAMPALA: APR/23/2015,
South Sudan has renewed the pact with Uganda to extend the presence of Ugandan military in South Sudan for four months, Ugandan army said.

The deputy Ugandan army spokesperson, Maj. Henry Obbo said the renewal of the agreement which took place in Mbuya, the Military headquarters in Kampala on Tuesday was signed by Ugandan defence minister Crispus Kiyonga and his south Sudanese counterpart, Gen. Kuol Manyang Juuk.
“In the view of the fact that the situation in South Sudan had not fully stabiliised, the two agreed to renew the military Assistance agreement between the two countries for a further four months,” the signed documents read.

The renewal came two days after the warring parties in South Sudan signed a power sharing agreement in Ethiopia that will see both sides cease hostilities.

This is the third time South Sudan is asking for an extension of the presence of Ugandan military which deployed in December 2013 to support the beleaguered government of Salvar Kiir.

Previously, the two sides have signed but violated the ceasefire agreement, leaving thousands of people dead in the youngest, oil producing country.

More than 10,000 people have been killed, about 1.5 million people displaced from their homes. About 11 million people are struggling to find enough food to eat.

Two leaders from Dinka tribe in the South Sudan the late Dr.John Garang De Mabior, and his opportunist successor President Salva Kirr Mayardit! They are not good at all! I really do not see any important reason to keep foreign soldiers in other people land in which they have no any fully right to stay! They allow President Yoweri Museveni to suck the blood of South Sudanese people for so long! There are neighboring countries in Uganda, and South Sudan in Sudan, they have not leave their soldiers to stay in the South Sudan homeland!

Why allow Uganda troops in the South Sudan in the country for so long to stay???? The Uganda government, has said,it sent the troops in the South Sudan during on 15,December 2013 episode to evacuate the Ugandans nationals from the crisis. Why Uganda alone that had appeared of sending their soldiers in Africa alone a part from those countries?

If at all that Uganda government had truly come to evacuate their citizens in the South Sudan from problems, why they came to fight against the rebels in opposition led by Riak Machar in the bush against the regime of incumbent presidency of Salva Kirr in Juba in the South??? Kirr is feeding them on South Sudanese taxpayers sweats.Meanwhile the citizens living with drying mouths at homes!!! There is no need to allow different soldiers from place to live in country. President Yoweri Museveni,he making himself as though he is a true born person of the land in Sudan. He himself,he has no right to stop people from fighting against the government in the South in the country totally! He by himself,he had his problem with Joseph Kony who is fighting him from his autocratic rule in the country in Uganda. Because,he by himself alone,he would like to remain in power for life???

One day,if there going a new president besides President Kirr,it needs all Uganda soldiers including those who are fighting LRA in Yambio, must leave at once! Even political relation in two countries, truncate a relationship! Foreign relation policies in the government, must scrub off and must replace with a new ones in the books in the constitution!
