President Kiir’s despair and decent to witchcraft

BY: ELHAG PAUL, RSS, MAY/22/2014, SSN;

The unforeseen consequences of the events of 15th December 2013 have left President Salva Kiir confused like a rabbit blinded by the headlights of an advancing car. Confronted with existential threat, he hopes the invisible forces of the underworld will protect him.

Adam Ashforth in his book, ‘Witchcraft, Violence, and Democracy in South Africa’ explains such confused state of mind by pointing to how a person creates a patent reality out of a state of fearfulness.

President Kiir has already lost touch with reality. He has slipped into a world of denial, uncertainty, suspicions, despair and fearfulness.

Practically, he is a paranoid man. Thus he presents serious problems to the state of South Sudan and its people.

Atieno Oduor makes this very point albeit in a different way. In her article titled, ‘Cut off Uganda Military Aid to South Sudan’s Kiir’, she states, “In short, South Sudan has entered a dangerous phase of uncertainty and instability that poses severe risk to its citizens and neighbours.”

The problem with Oduor’s assessment is that she erroneously pathologises the state of South Sudan and leaves the culprits untouched.

Instead of actually saying president Kiir poses danger to himself, the people of South Sudan and the neighbouring countries, she piles the blame on the state. http://nyamile.com/2014/03/11/uganda-cut-off-uganda-military-aid-to-south-sudans-kiir/

South Sudan, the state, is not the danger but those steering it are, and so Oduor needs to be clear and specific.

President Kiir and his tribal ideology is the real threat to the national security of South Sudan and the region.

The events of 15th December 2013 stem from the administration’s pursuit of Jieng tribal interest. The fallout has led to the destruction of the country.

The first casualty has been the authority and legitimacy of president Kiir itself. His powers and influence in the country has been much diminished.

The ethnic cleansing of the Nuer people that he sanctioned as expected degenerated into collapse of the army (SPLA) along tribal lines with some Nuer generals rebelling against the regime.

In the process, the rebels took control of a third of the country out of the president’s remit and writ. This lost territory has the potential to deny the regime oil revenue which is its main source of cash.

With the army (SPLA) in tatters without any ability to protect the country, president Kiir resorted to renting a foreign power, Uganda army (UPDF) to provide protection for him and the beneficiaries of the system.

Without this act of desperation it is doubtful whether the regime could have survived.

The downside to this rent-a-mercenary thing is that Kiir finds himself at the mercy of his cunning friend president Yowere Kaguta Museveni of Uganda who is well known for dirty intrigues.

Recently when Malakal fell to the rebels, Museveni flew to Juba for an overnight meeting with Kiir. It is understood that Kiir emerged from that meeting sick with migraine due to a one way lecture from Museveni.

The crimes against humanity which president Kiir’s militia committed against the Nuer people have tarnished his image beyond repair.

It is even more likely now that he may face the International Criminal Court. Careful analysis of the situation points to one conclusion: president Kiir’s political career is finished.

It is just a matter of time before this reality dawns on him and his followers.

Of all the above, the most serious concern is with the well being of the president himself.

He appears to be in a state of paranoia and this can clearly be seen from his latest over reliance on invisible forces of the spiritual world.

Given the president’s inability to grasp complex issues, the outcome of his political adventures has turned out to be difficult for him to grasp.

Typical of a person who believes in witchcraft he now attributes the catastrophe he unleashed in the country to some evil spirits.

In a sense he is in denial of the mess he created. In fact president Kiir has endured more than enough in ruling South Sudan without working state machinery but with support of Jieng magicians (Beny Bith or the spear men).

However, nobody else is to blame. This mess is his own making and his strong belief in tribalism.

The inability of the government to develop good policies, analyse domestic and international events to guide it, is down to the rampant tribal employment system that favours academic fraudsters like Ateny Wek Ateny, Telar Ring Deng and so on.

The invisible powers of Beny Bith to which president Kiir relied over the years appear to be limited and losing effect especially given the magnitude of the issues facing the country.

Stories in the streets of Juba spoken in whispers due to fear of government security agents allude to the president and his vice as ritualistic naked night dancers singing songs in strange language.

This practice is said to occur regularly in the president’s ranch in Luri, south west of Juba.

According to some scholars in the area of spirituality and mysticism, witchcraft and occult practices are associated with denial of reality and the apportioning of blame to others or other things.

For example, president Kiir deeply believes that power in South Sudan belongs to the Jieng and any attempt by any other non-Jieng to take power is unnatural.

Confronted by an ambitious Riek Machar who wants to compete for power, Kiir reacts crazily and sets the country ablaze.

Due to president Kiir’s inability to think clearly, he expects things to be normal in the country.

But now faced with the ugly outcome of his ethnic cleansing policies; Kiir is now in denial of his role in creating the mess and tries to attribute blame to evil spirits such as ghosts.

Interestingly he believes that the ghost of Dr John Garang, his predecessor is tormenting him. Reports say the ghost of late Dr Garang is terrorising Kiir to the extent that he can not sleep at night. http://www.gurtong.net/ECM/Editorial/tabid/124/ctl/ArticleView/mid/519/articleId/15035/Family-of-Late-John-Garang-Condemn-Conduct-of-Demonic-Rituals-On-Grave.aspx

In addition to this, both president Kiir and his deputy Wani Igga are terrified of the story of Ngundeng.

Defeated by the philosophical message of Ngundeng, the duo took flight to Nigeria to find a counter to hold Riek Machar at bay.

They have now allegedly recruited the preacher, Temitope Balogun Joshua of SCOAN, into their arsenals to hold onto power and keep South Sudanese enslaved. http://saakam.wordpress.com/2014/03/07/south-sudan-appoints-nigerian-tb-joshua-as-presidential-advisor-for-religious-affairs/

The official introduction of occultism into the affairs of South Sudan state raises a serious question.

President Kiir came to power in the Republic of South Sudan on 9th July 2011 by assuming power based on the outcome of the rigged election of April 2010 in the then Sudan under President Omer Bashir.

But now if the president and his deputy by default subject the presidency to the authority of some occultic spirits, to the extent that they become answerable to these spirits; or do things that these spirits demand – who then is governing South Sudan?

Who is responsible for the protection of citizens and the well being of the country?

Is it the clients (Kiir and Igga) of the occult, or is it the occultic spirits themselves?

If it is the latter, does it mean that South Sudan is no longer governed by its constitution?

Where do the people of South Sudan fit in this bizarre arrangement?

When leaders who falsely claim to be legitimately elected are answerable and led by occultic spirits in private mystic deals, where does democracy feature?

How can the people hold the occult to account to them since the occultic spirits are not the chosen representatives?

From these questions what seems obvious is the conflict between the beliefs in the occult versus the belief in democracy. This now appears to be the emerging problem in the state of South Sudan.

If the government represented by president Kiir and vice president Igga now itself is unsure of its existence and ability to protect its leaders to the degree that it resorts to seeking protection from witchcraft and the occult, where is the viability of the state?

Conventionally it is the state that has a duty to protect its citizens. When the leaders of government resort to occultic practices to protect their power, something is seriously wrong.

The fact that South Sudan is severely damaged by the SPLM ruling party under president Kiir speaks for itself.

The country is virtually ungovernable under total control of foreign power and rule of the occult.

President Kiir and James Wani Igga’s immersion into the world of occult effectively make them only symbolic leaders of the country.

This means that South Sudan in reality is a ship without a captain sailing in stormy seas because the president and his deputy are locked into a world of trance concerned about their individual battles with the ghosts of their previous leader and their victims.

Therefore, South Sudan needs to be rescued very quickly. The level of unreasonableness is just astounding.

This is echoed in the remarks made by the Norwegian foreign minister Mr Borge Brende when he said, “The unreasonable and groundless accusations that have been made against the UN mission in South Sudan the last few days are unacceptable.”

This highlights the extent to which the leaders of South Sudan are devoid of rationality.

Mr Brende was right in his remark because the overwhelming majority of South Sudanese also share his view.

The people of South Sudan see the behaviour of president Kiir and the SPLM government as totally warped.

This stance is clearly articulated in Joanna Adams’ incisive and piercing article ‘South Sudan should be expelled from the UN & AU.’ http://www.southsudannation.com/south-sudan-should-be-expelled-from-the-un-au/

This piece vindicates the comment of Mr Brende. Diplomatically, the words of the Norwegian foreign minister amount to a vote of no confidence from the international community in the president Kiir and SPLM government. http://www.regjeringen.no/en/dep/ud/press/news/2014/Accusations-against-UN-mission-in-South-Sudan-are-unacceptable.html?id=752917

Unbelievably, the regime seems to have not taken a note or even registered the seriousness of the damaging remark of Mr Brende.

The evidence to this is demonstrated by the non stop ranting of the schooled but not learnt minister of information Michael Makuei with his rented ruffians (in Bahr El Ghazal University and in the local business community).

The latest unreasonableness now comes from the minister of cabinet affairs Dr Martin Lomuro in relation to the IGAD talks in Addis Ababa. http://www.sudantribune.com/spip.php?article50364

Mr Lomuro shamelessly says the group of seven senior members of the SPLM bailed to Kenya; and the civil societies do not have a stake in the talks and therefore the government will not accept them to partake in the talks.

What does the use of the word stakeholder mean in context of what is happening in the talks in Addis Ababa?

The unreasonable behaviour of the regime should be seen in line with the pandering of the current leaders to the occult. They have become detached from reality domestically and globally.

Therefore, a new and neutral government as argued by South Sudanese and tabled by IGAD in Addis Ababa should take over power in Juba soonest to bring peace; address the immediate outstanding issues re democracy and prepare the country for the coming elections.
[Truth hurts but it is also liberating]

The old opposition is sinking into absurdity. ALL OVER THE PLACE.
No direction. Devoid of leadership qualities.

    • Murlil says:

      Dear Paul,
What you have written here about these useless presidents is the reality and should be supported by democracy loving south sudanese like you and me.
To hell with Kiir and his mad vice Wani.
Their days in Juba are countable.

      • Nikalongo says:

        Paul/Murlil,
Nuer and Dinka participants on this page and their supporters need to be reminded that the current destruction in the country has nothing to do with Wani Igga, Lomoro or any other Equatorian. There are no fools in Equatoria and Wani is not mad. There has been a consistent attack on the personality of Igga by enemies of peace and tranquillity in Equatoria. To imagine that the Vice President was in Nigeria to solicit for guidance from a witch is an insult to the Chrisitian believes so dear to Igga. If anything Wani Igga is the voice of peace and unity of the citizens of this country. Tell me how many leaders in Dinka or Nuerland would have given up their seats for the sake of peace? Nuer killed Dinka. Dinka killed Nuer. They are all bloodthirsty and have no respect for the dignity of human life and values. That is something you Paul must condemn in the strongest term possible regardless of where and how it started. Dinka Kiir and Nuer Riak are extensions of each other. Blaming one and exonerating the other is a sign of hypocrisy. The blood of innocent Nuer killed in Juba is as thick as those of the innocent Dinka killed in Bor and Bentui. If you are just (I believe u are), then take both to the Hague because both committed atrocities, are armed and dangerous to the long term stability of this country.

Paul, Uganda and Museveni contributed immensely toward the liberation of South Sudan. Do you know how to stop the mutual killings between the bloodthirsty Nuer and the Dinka militia soldiers? Come up with tangible proposals if you have any so that innocent Nuer and Dinka women and children, packed in camps like sardines in tin boxes can go home. Leave Wani and Lomoro out of the blame game. Focus somewhere else. UPDF is not in South Sudan to protect Kiir but to contain the war from spreading to Equatoria. Do you how many refugees will seek refuse in Uganda if that war was allowed to spread to Equatoria? There is already 90,000 there as I am writing. In Equatoria, UPDF is not considered invaders but cousins from across the boarders to ensure Bor, Malakal and Bentiu is not replicated in Juba and the surrounding settlements. I can understand the frustration of those who feel UPDF robbed them of victory. There are attempts by enemies of peace and tranquillity in Equatoria to incite violence and empty rumours in Equatoria. All will fail. War mongers hiding in peaceful Equatoria can take their trade (war) to their backyards.

Alhag, the seven politicians and all others around the peacetable in Adis are enemies of peace and stability. What extra leverage do they have on the outcome of the negotiations? IGAD must not allow itself be used to adjudicate on political disagreements within political parties in member countries. SPLM must resolve their differences or split. The mutual killings between the Nuer and Dinka is something that happens every other time. The solutions is not going to come from Adis. Nuer, Dinka and their supporters in between on this website can mobilise their people to sue for peace instead of playing the blame game. Dinka and Nuer elders are good at making peace. Few white bulls can be slaughtered to appease their gods of war and blood sprinkled to cleanse the hearts of the living. This was done before and can be done today. 15th Dec. was always about power not services. If I were Riak, I would pressure the government through IGAD for a free political space leading to a free and fair elections (where me and you can participate) monitored by the UN and the Troika. In this way, those who feel robbed of victories and sidelined in their parties can take their grievances to the electorate instead of being angry.

Firstly, the name “NIKALONGO” does not fit into the vocabulary of the Bari native speakers.
Secondly, if you are one of those South Sudanese who were born and raised in Uganda as the name suggests, please go back to Bugerere, Kakira or Bombo…etc. where you come from and worship your Museveni and continue to praise him for killing Dr John Garang which everyone in South Sudan know except you.
Thirdly, all the killings of the Nuer Civilians in JUBA by Kiir’s Militia occurred in the presence of these three prominent Central Equatorians; That is James Wani Igga, the Vice President of ROSS, Martin Elia Lomuro, Minister in the office the president, Clement Wani Konga the Governor who are all on record of never ever condemned these gross crimes against humanity despite their position in the government. Nikalongo, you left me scratching my head, when you talk of these three individuals as the voice for peace.
Fourth, what did these three leaders do to stop the Dinka from grabbing peoples’ land specifically in Central Equatoria?
Fifth, what did these leaders do to address the Dinka dominance of all key government institutions and create equal opportunity for all?
Please, NIKALONGO if you are one of those few individuals who are enjoying the precious blood and sweats of others at the expense of those suffering South Sudanese, do so with a bit of humility instead of disgracing yourself and compromising you reputation.

          • Nikalongo says:

            Joseph,

Now u are any, is’nt it? What is wrong with being born in exile? I was a refugee. Your father and uncles or may be u included chased my parents to exile. By the way Joseph, you forgot to mention General Hoth Mai, General Gatwich, Col. Lul, Barnaba Marial…..etc all in Juba on 15th Dec. I understand the Generals leading Kiirs militia armies on the frontlines are all Nuers. What did u expect Igga, Lomoro and Konga to do? It is the war of Dinka Kiir and Nuer Riak. The Barimen you are castigating have no standing armies. If u know of any private army in Equatoria, tell us. Equatoria can only preach peace and to a large extent that is being done. The Dinka and Nuer on this website must mobilise their people to sue for peace instead of encouraging more violence and destruction. The choice is theirs to make.

There are attempts by people like u to get Equatoria on board. All will fail. Idiots war mongers hiding in our towns and villages can take their wars to their backyards. My children will be born and brought up in Equatoria and not in exile in Bugerere. Igga, Lomoro, Konga, Bakosoro, Lobong with the support of UPDF will ensure that savages trained to kill innocent civilians in their sleep won’t cross our boarders.

          • AW Joseph says:

            NKALONGO
Is that as low as you could go. You are a bit better than that. If you were patriotic South Sudanese, You would not have heaped all this praises for this dangerous Dictator Museveni at our door steps. WHY?? A- Museveni killed Dr John Garang. B- Dr Garang’s death lead into this chaos! C- Why would Museveni be praised for helping to put out the fire that engulfed our country when he started it in the first place?
NIKALONGO, with due respect to you, you are Ugandan who traced back your origin to South Sudan therefore you do not know Sudan’s history. Do not even speak for Equatoria because of your interest for UGANDA while pretending to be South Sudanese.
Ugandans are well known for theft, greed, dishonest, corruption, deception, and violent crimes just as the DINKA. So if you are one of those skill imports from Uganda in SALVA’s regime we will get to you foreigners when that time arrives……

          • Nikalongo says:

            Joseph,
Stop blaming foreigners (Ugandans) for our failures. Who is not corrupt in South Sudan? Do u know where the children of Kiir (one was arrested on tuesday) and Riak live? Or u think they live in Gogrial and Leer. Mobilise the Dinka and Nuer politicians, elders and youth to amicably resolve the conflict so that their people can go back home instead of being angry. In this way Joseph, u can also prevent more parents from having children in exile like my parents did.

Joseph, visit the lucky wounded in the military hospital in Juba and the hungry and sick in the UN camps for u to understand the effect of the war u r championing. Remember for every wounded combatant receiving treatment, there are 20 others dying from lack of treatment in the bushes of Greater Upper Nile. Do you know how those displaced from Leer, Bentui, Bor and other settlements are doing? U should be ashamed of wanting more war than looking for an peaceful solution. We will not have that situation in Equatoria. Those oppose to the presence of UPDF as guarantors of peace and stability in Equatoria can go to hell. Their aim is to bring war to Equatoria. They will fail.

FROM EDITOR: MR. NIKALONGO, DON’T YOU EVER WONDER AT THE PATHETIC SITUATION OF THOSE WOUNDED SPLA SOLDIERS IN THE MILITARY HOSPITAL IN JUBA WHOSE GOVERNMENT ISN’T PROVIDING THEM WITH THE DESERVED MEDICAL TREATMENT?
JUST IMAGINE HOW MORALLY BANKRUPT AND REALLY STUPID THOSE OF KIIR AND CLOWN WANI IGGA VISITING THESE SUPPOSED ‘HEROES’ IN A FLEET OF BULLET PROOF MERCEDES LIMOUSINES AND THEN, MORE STUPIDLY HANDING OUT USELESS GIFTS TO WOUNDED AND AGONIZING SOLDIERS EITHER LYING ON THE GROUND OUTSIDE UNDER THE TREES. JUST SELLING ONE MERCEDES WILL SUFFICE TO GIVE THE BEST AND COMPLETE TREATMENT TO ALL THE INJURED.
THEN LOOK, AT THOSE SO-CALLED COMMANDERS SMILING WITH THEIR FAT-BELLIES, ROUNDED CHEEKS AND BLOATED FINGERS SO FAT THAT THEY CAN’T PULL THE TRIGGERS OF THEIR OWN PISTOLS.
THAT’S WHY WE NEED A NEW ARMY CALLED THE ‘SOUTH SUDAN NATIONAL ARMY.’

        • Nickalongo
You should put these points in consideration:
          1. Equatoria is not a solitary state; hence it should participate in social, economic and political issues of the
country otherwise Equatorians are just self-indulgent community worth nothing.
          2. Wani Igga, Martin Lomoro are belly politicians. Because being in the government, how could you allow
innocent citizens killed in cold blood in daylight without objecting to such tribal behaviour of your stupid
boss Kiirler (Kiir). Thanks to Mr Rachel the deputy minister of information who declared openly the
mistakes of Kiirler’s government killing innocent civilians in the daylight. Wani and Lomoro are not genuine
representatives of the people. They are papets. Justice will hunt them one at a time. I am ashamed that
          they are Equatorians.
          3. UPDF are invaders. They are in Juba not to protect but UPDF are in Juba to kill south sudanese citizens.
Had you, an Equatorian, been a nationalist, you should have been the first person to demand their
withdrawal from Juba. Again I would thank Nuer for their patriotic and nationalistic spirit to protect our
sovreignity and pride as South Sudanese.

In conclusion, Paul has depicted them correctly. The only way for peace in our dear country is to remove this unpopular government and replace it with a neutral government.

          • Nikalongo says:

            South Sudan,

Equatoria is proud of the position it has taken and will not participate in the killings of other South Sudanese citizens. Wani Igga and Lomoro may be Belly politicians (who is not in South Sudan) but they did not participate in killing innocent Nuers in Juba and Dinkas in Bor. Igga and Lomoro have no private militia armies trained to kill defenceless people in their sleep. The UPDF for now, is the only guatantors of peace and stability in Equatoria. They will stay put untill a time when Equatoria will be in position to protect her boarders from marauding militia gangs from Gogrial and Akobo. There is an attempt by people like you to bring Equatoria on board. That will fail. Idiot war mongers must fight their wars and keep it to their backyards.

South Sudan-iam, Lesson one. Dinka killed Nuer. Nuer killed Dinka. Lesson two. If anything, you should blame the Nuer and Dinka for destroying South Sudan. Lesson three. The war being fought now, is not about the prosperity of South Sudan. It is about Dinka and Nuer Pride. It is about their gods and their prophecies. In Equatoria, we do not worship witches nor have we any prophecy that dictates the course of events. What Paul said about Wani is an insult and he knows that.

        • BILL KUCH says:

          Nikalongo,
Absolutely, I have agreed with you hundred percent. I myself I am a Dinka and everything you said regarding this situation in South Sudan make perfect and complete sense for us not to deny the truth. I do believe that Equatorians have all signs of civilization which Dinkas and Nuers term it as coward sign when they intend to stay from violent. But that is not true because there are so many ways of changing thing such as voting like you mentioned earlier. So, fighting ourselves as one nation is unwise and it shows that we are still behind. Some of Dinkas and Nuers believe that one could rule this nation because he/she hails from the big tribe, but that will not go well or long enough in South Sudan. It should be about who is doing what as for goodness of the country people. For instance, Dr. Riek was President Kiir’s Vice President, and so, he decided to go against Kiir in their administration because he believes that his boss has been wrong, and in order to distinguish himself, then he should refrain from doing wrong thing he is blaming on to make perfection. Thanks!

      • Jason Pitia says:

        Nikalongo,

There is need to think Paul elhaag is criticizing Kiir and sparing Riek, the fact is how evil Riek could be in your eye, he didn’t start the war, he was sacked and been humiliated by Kiir like a kid, Kiir has shown no respect for Riek by disgracing him and the other 10 prominent politicians who sacrificed so dearly for this nation, we expected the worse on the day Kiir illegal sacked Riek, but the world have seen patience and diplomacy in Riek as an educated person,as if that wasn’t enough then Kiir went on calling the organs in which Riek is deputy expiry as such, he Kiir is/was the only one left with fully legitimacy to mount others like female cows.
I would like to say if God was not with Riek he would have been buried in mass graves with his tribe mates that were killed on 15 December. As an equatorian, I have not sympathy for Wani Iggo, Martin Elia Lomoro, Gamma Nunu, these are the worse creatures selling and sacking the blood of Equatorian, have you ever heard these parasites one day talking about the interest of Equatorians? Wani is no piece of mouth that preaches peace than been a messenger of Kiir, he and Kiir and Lomoro must go when the time comes for Kiir to quit.

        • Nikalongo says:

          Jason Pitia,

Riak’s militia Army is as good at killing as Kiir’s. Who started what is irrelevant. Somehow, one of them was going to begin the mayhem (it happens after every other year). They are one and the same. As for Wani Igga, Lomoro and others representing Equatoria in government and the house of assembly, is an issue for their constituencies. It is time we begin to trust in the ability of our people (electorate) to make wise decisions.

          • Elijah Samuel says:

            Nikalongo,
Really? Are you serious, Who start what is irrelevant? Who started what is every thing! Specially when it has to do with the legitimate government of the people. It is absolutely un acceptable for the government to kill the tribesmen of a politician they disagree with. RIek had no obligation to the citizens after he was relieved of his position. Kiir had every responsibility to protect those he killed! Both are evil but worse is the one who brought the evil in the first place!
Now think about this, Kiir not only started this but it is him who is maintaining the fire to this date. He refused to release all the detainee he arrested for a coup that we all now know that never took place! He is pursuing the war full force, he has maintain mercenaries in our nation!
So Kiir initiated and he also is the maintainer of the calamity that has befallen on our nation

          • Jason Pitia says:

            Nikalongo,

You got it wrong because Wani Igga nor Elia Lomoro were elected to their ministerial posts, tell me who elected this craps? and they are not representing the people of Greater Equatoria, but rather representing the interest of government of Kiir. In fact this two men both from Bari speakers, but under their leadership the Bari speaking tribes have endure hardship and hard lives, to me they both lack ability of leadership.

          • Nikalongo says:

            Elijah Samuel/Pitia.

Elijah, Dinka Kiir and Nuer Riak have blood of the south sudanese people on their hands. They are using their dominance in the militia army to kill their own people. Yes Elijah. Who started what is irrelevant at this stage. What is important now is for the concern Dinka and Nuer politicians, elders and the youth to mobilise their contituencies to stop the mayhem. Stop blaming the UPDF. The war is killing and displacing them and doing so in thousands. Stop the war now. Forget about Adis. Some few white bulls and drums of Kwette. It was done before, it can be done today Elijah.

Pitia, Our ministers are not elected. They are appointed. The government of South Sudan has failed all her citizens not just the Bari people. Instead of being angry on this webside, wait for the next election to vote out Lomoro and Igga.

Many thanks indeed Mr. Paul for the rational article. But the aforesaid academic fraudsters Tellar and Ateny will not help Kiir due to their incompetency to what should be done in such a country as South Sudan for all of them know things only in the context of greater Bahr el Gazel beyond that is tantamount to evil, hence they only know what is good for them and their cronies like Lumoro to always support what Kiir likes. You talked of rationality in Kiir management but you are wasting your time and energy for no one among Salva Kiir’s camp knows the aforesaid leave alone the simple man Kiir.

  5. Tyson says:

This is evidence for the masses to rise up and over throw this useless and senseless government.

  6. Omang Rollo says:

The new administration will not be the end of our problems, cattle rustling, states’ issues will still crop up here and there.by the way, were you together with the duo when they flew to Nigeria for occultic induction? or you just collected your lies from street kids who will say anything in exchange for food.

  7. Wau Naar says:

    Dear Elhag Paul,
The title of your Article should have been “The Emperor Has No Clothes” He heeeelok

  8. Elhag Dog,
Listen Here Idiot, when we wont this war, traitors like you will walk the street with their limbs torn off their body.

    • Eli says:

      Toney Toney Matot
You could win the war but you will never win our hearts, just as the Jalaba thought before that they defeated us in the past but finally they lost. You jenges shall succumb because as it’s written in Proverbs 29:1; “A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed without remedy.”

    • Toney Matot, you are such an informed jengge. who told you that spla/m won the fight? did South Sudan got independence through the barral of a gun? spla/m failed to achieve two things: a united new sudan and the unity of south sudanese in Kiirler’s erra.

Remember, Garang and Bashir had no will to resolve the problem at that time. They were pressured by the Bush Administration and consequently, they signed the comprehensive peace agreement in 2005. Don’t spoil our history.

Again self-determination was not one of Garang’s objectives. Thanks to Riek Mashar for his courageousness to stand up and voice the desire of South Sudan to have their own country through democratic channel of free voting for either to live in a one-united sudan or a separate South Sudan.

Talking about war, we have all fought this war to achieve our the independence of South Sudan; who are you to exclued others of their participation in the liberation of South Sudan? Stop this thinking as it is an old fashion thinking of Kiirler erra.

Elhag is frank and truthful. People like you don’t like the truth because you want to keep your incompetent leader to drag our beloved country into a pit of hell. Elhag and other patriotic nationals like Riek Mashar will not allow that.

Elhag will continue to expose your dirty policies.

Remember, No more Jenggeinism. No more Oyeeism slogan.

  9. Nyeri says:

    Elhag,

We just need an interim government badly now. SKM needs to go and find another experiment ground

    • Omang Rollo says:

Makuei, Aleu Ayen and Ateny Wong are doing great jobs in this administration, you can throw your garbage at them, but be informed that they are not going any were as you Dor, Nuer and UN want to destroy lives of others.

      • Kurbak says:

It’s very unfortunate to hear a South Sudanese telling us that; Makui, Ateny and Tilar are not going anywhere. Are these the best people in Jenge community. If it’s so, then Jenge are the most pitied community in the whole of South Sudan

  10. Defender says:

    El Hag Paul,

Your articles never disappoint. You speak facts that others may not have the capacity to put. The government in South Sudan has lost, not only, credibility and all of her cousins, but sanity. The government in Juba has elected to embarrass South Sudanese globally with their logic that are only bought and sold in the streets of Juba, not because it make sense, but for fear of retribution. People are paraded in the streets of Juba to demonstrate against the UN but when they go home, they do not have anything to eat or salaries to pay their bills. This type of reality that the rulers in South Sudan are living is dangerous.

They are now asking for the UN to leave but do not have any alternatives to fill in the gap. UN and other NGOs have sustained this government for too long and now they have the audacity to call for its removal. This is stupidity of the highest order.

As well, making the stupid argument that the SPLM alone determines who has a stake in the future direction of the country is just as skewed thinking as the ritualistic believe that the gods will save their sorry a**** from the turmoil they have put the country in.

  11. Dear Paul,

You have said it all,but i know the thieves/Bigots are not going to accept the realities as you outlined.but the good news is that, the equatorians have started to understand and possible joining their great son H.E Alfred Lado Gore,I think this war is going to an end soon once the illiterate regime is is forced out Juba once and for all.

  12. Dmajak says:

Paul , thank you for putting togather many lies to feed your audience and son Dr Justin . Kiir is not paranoid as you put it because he had seen many worse than this current situation in the country so your wish will not come true. If he had been paranoid , there are many dinkas that can do his work such as James Wani , Kuol Manyang, Dr Riek Gai kok and mamur mete. So don’t worry Paul, Jieng will lead without Kiir. if we did it without Garang , why not?

    • Dmajak
are you another mundukuru? calling others jengge when they are not. it is really unfortunate that you are called south sudanese. you are a curse; go to hell like the mundukuru followers of the devil.

Thank God that I am DOR and not jengge.

      • Dmajak says:

Southsudan iam , I am not munduru but I am a South sudanese from Dinka tribe and Am proud to be Dinka as you proud to be Bari . At the end of the day , we are all south sudanese and unless you are from Congo.

  13. Eli says:

Great article Mr Elhag, many truths in your article. Ex-President Kirr lost it all, I called him ex-president because he officially gave up his Powers to Satan. Kirr went from attending mass at Kator Cathedral to voodoo in Nigeria, Kirr ignored the wise advise from our Faithfull clergies like our Bishops who are full of wisdom.

In fact it is now clear that “Lucifer” is the President of Republic of South Sudan.

Here is why I think so.
Nobody understands how the UN, EU, USA, AU and IGAD could turn to be the enemy of South Sudan overnight while these international bodies assisted us from the beginning to this date.
We the peace loving peoples of South Sudan begged the International Communities not to take anything coming out of Kirr’s regime seriously, but rather like the Norwegian Prime Minister echoed they are out of their mind.

So please; UN, USA, EU, USA, AU and IGAD we begged you to stand with our people and help us out of this mess.

How could the so-called (over-bribed Equatorian), Kirr’s Vice President Mr. Wani Igga shamelessly stood in the UN Podium in New York and insult the West for not acknowledging the so-called coup, called the West colonialists and accused the West of re-colonization and other names? Yes, we all acknowledge from history books that colonization happened not only in Africa but around the globe but we must never get stuck to those old and ancient mentality, we the new generation are working to rebuild trust and global relationships with Former-colonial powers. I mean is Wani Igga so much ignorant that his Cuban training by Fidel Castro blinded him thinking that his comments will not backfire and be accountable for his hate-speech against the West? Now, they are against IGAD whom they are begging to deploy troops to protect their malicious objectives.
I think IGAD and the International community need to appoint the interim -government in Addis Ababa in Juba’s absenteeism and call all the existing Juba regime as illegitimate until Kirr and his cohorts go to ICC and come clear first, which I profoundly doubted.
Just today; I read on Sudantribune.com that Uganda could not contain the influx of South Sudanese refugees, ha ha ha ha; its about time Ugandan people realize that “you reap what you sow”. Excuse me, but I mean although not all Ugandan people are in favor of Museveni’s move; but the fact that you the good people of Uganda remained silenced by this dictator shows you have surrendered to his tyrannical sickness of “rule-until-death”. Museveni is trying to implant such mentality into his submissive and illiterate counterpart Mr. Kirr, but in South Sudan we will not tolerate that system.
May God bless the Peoples of South Sudan.

  14. Dear Mr.Wani,

Thank you very much,We in the greater equatoria region are ready in particular Youth .For how long shall we allow ourselves to be mishandled by the most illiterate men and Women of this Country? Jiengs are today saying we Equatorians are not in the armed forces of this Country, despite the prices we are paying dieing in front lines of Malakal,Bor,Bentiu and Guardiang due to Jiengs man made War without cause only to remain in power . yet without any promotion or Ranks but Jiengs are getting army promotion big ranks for nothings only to receive salaries but empty heads like their leader the so called Kirr.

  15. wanilosake says:

    Dear guys
    Who Is Alhaj Paul?
You guys are dealing with a jalaba man who is acting as the divider of south sudanese by fooling them to head Kiir what is his problem with Dinka? if you have problem with Dinka take them to court but dont creat hatred among south sudanese by mentioning tribes and abusing them all the time? South sudan national security agencies are closing on this Alhaj paul to know where he reside and from where he is from according to sources they limit their searches to identify him as a messiriya person who lives in Canada but he could be charged with treason charges for insighting hatred which resulted in the killing of innocent civilians.

FROM EDITOR: MR. WANILOSAKE, YOU’RE HEREBY STERNLY INFORMED THAT THIS WEBSITE WILL NOT AGAIN ENTERTAIN SUCH NONSENSICAL REFERENCES TO THE SO-CALLED SS NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCIES.
THIS WEBSITE IS AN OPEN AND FREEDOM ENSHRINED MEDIA THAT OPERATES WITHOUT ANY FEAR OF OR HARASSMENT BY YOUR SECURITY, WE ARE SWORN HERE TO FIGHT AGAINST STATE TERROR BY YOUR TRIBAL SECURITY AND THE TARGETED KILLING OF FREEDOM LOVING SOUTH SUDANESE.
PLEASE TAKE YOUR SECURITY MONITORING ACTIVITIES ELSEWHERE.

    • Elijah Samuel says:

      WaniLosoke,
You are defiling Bari name, Shame on you! The hatred toward Dinkas is generated by Dinka themselves not what Elhag wriytes or any other persons writes! If the Jieng leaderships and their followers like you not do evils, Elhag will have nothing to write about other than academics and other things! You give him the material to write and he writes the truth.
Before you take anyone to Jiengs Kanagroo courts you should take Kiir first forrecruiting illegal militia, instigating war, comitting ethnic cleansing and today confiscating guns in Juba while letting his people run arrount through out Equatoria, Nimule in Particular with guns in the name of cattles. You are your own worst messangers if Elhag or any other write about it or not! All South Sudanese exempt for the Jieng know how you all sucks for dragging our country into mad and trash.

    • AW Joseph says:

      Who is Wani Lo Sake?
Could be Wani Igga in disguise, his relatives defending their slice of the cake or one of his associates/puppets of the rotten & corrupt system. Why do I think so? Because no decent Bari, Kakwa, Kuku, Loluba, Mundari, Nyangwara and Pojulu generally referred to as Bari speakers (the traditional custodian of Central Equatoria) who bears those names and are at the receiving end of Kiir + Igga murderous regime would ever write leave alone saying any thing like this in support of JIENGE.
Those who are of wanilosake type, the accomplices of JIENGE, are from the clan of James Wani Igga, Martin Elia Lomuro or Clement Wani Konga the DINKA puppets.
Therefore, we also know who you are Wanilosake, we will close on you and your family. I know you will not like a test of your own medicine just as the payback the Nuer’s gave to the Dinka for killing innocent Nuer Civilians in Juba.
If you threaten others, you too must be threatened so that you can understand and feel the same fear, stress and trauma you caused to others. Enjoy your ill gotten riches but don’t gamble with peoples lives.

    • Shamga says:

The editor said, “WE ARE SWORN HERE TO FIGHT AGAINST STATE TERROR BY YOUR TRIBAL SECURITY AND THE TARGETED KILLING OF FREEDOM LOVING SOUTH SUDANESE”. Are you Mr editor trying to tell us that the website is a rebel mouthpiece? If so then it is a tribal mouthpiece it means we are all tribal including you.The rebels as you know, are only from nuer and it seems you have been absorbed into their delusion, hence you call them freedom loving South sudanese. Which freedom are you talking about? Freedom brought about by nuer as a single tribal group, do you think they will succeed with that ill designed rebellion that has caused so many lives of innocent dinkas and nuers? You must be having a perverted thinking. All I know is, you are hiding somewhere in the west, and you just try to push the delusional nuer in the back to go and fight for your diabolic lies in the name of so called freedom. But be informed if you didn’t know, that they are not fighting for any freedom, because for sure they will never free anyone or be free from any thing. This is because when they attempt gun fight which they have always believed as the only way to sort problems they are finished or sent in disarray, making them lost memory of they very thing they fight for, and they give up and come back. You should know winning wars is the basis for getting to destinations intended; where is that freedom going to come from when there are no wins. Now, that freedom has become a nuer political hot potato as wars and large numbers of people are being lost, and they are accusing each other on who caused it, and what should have been or have not been done and most have just given up and comeback; others have just turn their guns on their mates. It is becoming nothing or sinking into oblivion. And by the way, accusing the security apparatus as a tribal security when you should rather call the rebellion a tribal rebellion is absurd. Talking about terror. Terror occurs when a large number of people mob an individual with simultaneous demands on their time and resources. The nuer are the real people doing that as they have gone into innocent dinka neighborhoods on many occasions and start killing everyone they found.

FROM EDITOR: MR. SHAMGA, YESTERDAY, AS I WAS WATCHING SSTV AND THE MASS AT KATOR CATHEDRAL, JUBA, ARCHBISHOP LUKUDU, LECTURED TO KIIR AND OTHERS, THAT LET’S LEARN TO TALK AND NOT FIGHT.
YOU COMPLETELY MISUNDERSTOOD MY REMARKS WARNING WANILOSAKE NOT TO THREATEN COMMENTATORS ON THIS WEBSITE. NOW WHAT HAS ALL THESE REFERENCES ABOUT DINKA AND NUER, MACHAR AND REBELS…??
WHO MENTIONED DINKA? IT’S PERHAPS HIGHLY ADVISABLE AND TIMELY THAT YOU MUST LIBERATE YOURSELF SOONER BEFORE OUR NATION BREAKS UP.
ONCE A BEAST HAS TASTED BLOOD, AS HAPPENED ON DECEMBER 15, 2013, IT WON’T STOP DEVOURING ALL ITS PREY…….

  16. Even if you keeping yapping day and night you people, kiir will remain in power as much as he want to leads. Riek tried but failed, let whoever have doubt should tried and he will end up like greedy Riek who attempted coup in last december.

  17. Makow says:

Website being run by idiotic tribalists

  18. Dmajak says:

To Editor in chief , you don’t have to defend Paul he himself can make strong defend not you. it look like you take side and support anybody who is against Dinkas . Being editor in chief is to correct any grammer error or acts as referee on both oppositions side but not choose side like several time you favour any body who is against the government or tribe.

FROM EDITOR: I’M NOT SURE, MR. DMAJAK, WHETHER YOU ARE REFERRING TO MY REPLY TO MR. WANILOSAKE, AS THAT WAS THE ONLY COMMENT I MADE.
OBVIOUSLY, THE COMMENT OF WANILOSAKE IS OF GREAT CONCERN AS IT APPEARS LIKE A THREAT FROM THE NEFARIOUS SECURITY OF KIIR, THE ONES THAT ELIMINATED ISAIAH ABRAHAM.
WE REFUSE TO LIVE UNDER ANY INTIMIDATION OR CENSORSHIP FROM ANY BODY.

    • Dmajak says:

Yes Mr Editor , I was talking about Wanilosak comments but you right we don’t need another Isaiah Abraham . I think the government had learnt from Abraham incident and they will not kill another Journalists.

FROM EDITOR: THANKS, MR. DMAJAK, I SET UP THIS WEBSITE WAY BACK IN 2003 TO ALLOW SOUTH SUDANESE THEN TO FREELY EXPRESS THEIR VIEWS ABOUT THE LIBERATION AND ABOUT THE NEW NATION WE ENVISAGED.
WHETHER FOR GOOD OR BAD, I HAVE RISKED MY OWN LIFE RUNNING THIS WEBSITE WHICH ACCOMMODATES ALL DIVERGENT VIEWS, PRO OR ANTI GOVERNMENT. SO I HATE TO SEE SOMEBODY INSINUATING A THREAT OR ACTUALIZING SOME TERROR OR HARM ON OTHERS. THAT’S WHAT I ONLY MEANT.
PERSONALLY, I HAVE CONTINUOUSLY RECEIVED PERSONAL THREATS AND ABUSES WHICH OF COURSE I DON’T PUBLISH FOR THE PUBLIC.
REGARDLESS, WE MUST CONTINUE WITH THE MISSION OF PURSING FREE SPEECH AT ANY RISK.
      CHEERIOS

  19. kikisik says:

    Hi Elhag Paul,
Nice to hear from you after been away for so long. Nice article keep it up! I think the president and his VP should be ex-communicated from the church because it is an insult to the doctrine of the church and Lukudu should take note of that. The other good news is that Equatoria has broken their silent and it is now time for mobilization of ideas so as to put things right.
“Leaders comes Leaders goes, but South Sudan will remain forever”

  20. BILL KUCH says:

    Elhag Paul,
I would have agreed with you if your truth telling had partially put things together between government and rebels. So, I am sure if that’s honesty when you are supporting one side. But I guess it doesn’t matter anyway whether people are on the same page with you or not for no one ever will change you for who you are. Here, this is what makes me wonder; you said, Kiir believes in Beny Bith while you failed to mention Riek motivations as he always welcome Ngundeng promises as his only source of power. Also, you said, that the third of the country to be under rebels control. And the reality shows that rebels are in some part of the Upper Nile State which is one third of the country then I just don’t see that as one being truthful. Oh well, we shall see it all later because what would happen next should prove both sides right or wrong. Thanks!

  21. Elijah Samuel says:

    Elhag,
You are true son of our nation! Keep up the heat on this Kiir who also is called, Thief, Tribalist,Lier,Slanderer, power hungry, Murderer of women and children,Traitor for violating national sovereignty bringing merceneries to kill fellow citizens just to maintain power, Sustainer of instability for refusing to honour the peace deal, Dictator and now Satan worshiper!
LET MR. KIIR REST IN HELL!

  22. koordiit says:

So glad with this website for helping South Sudanese to feed the whole world with their articles daily.

YOU ARE MOST WELCOME AND THANKS…. EDITOR

  23. J.Chin Jacob says:

    Elhag Paul,

I am glad that some people have started to learn about your cheap campaign for unachieveable goal as they ‘ve now faded up with your tribalistic and fabricated articles against President Kiir and the Dinka tribe.
In fact your cousin or whoever to you ‘ve told you the truth and it seems you and your private editor in chief ‘re so arrogance to that extents of threatening WANI for pointing out the truth about your informal articles against a certain & to the same direction every time you got drunk in a foreign country.

    Ya SLAVE PAUL,
Your business of tarnishing, lying, inciting, spying, selling the people of South Sudan to the West is coming to an end, you better look for another safer business than this dirty one because it is even known and spoken locally here that a frog can leap according to its level or length and if it goes beyond that limit, then you can see them spraying some urine always because of extraodinary jump so why not you? look at yourself and the title, the photo and even the contents of your article, it seems you ‘ve totally resorted into the backwardness of 19 centuries although you want to give that low grading to others as appears in your senseless article but i am telling you that you better look at the benefit of your article first before you stupidly share it with public coz this article of yours is totally nonsense and rubbish though your garbages and shits are always appreciated and backed up by your tribemen and women in Equatoria.

    Elhag,
South Sudanese majority including me would ‘ve agree with you if you first wrote something about the FALSE PROPHECY of NGUNGDENG that has misled the prophet of doom Dr. Traitor Riek, the devil whom you refer to as an ambtious leader where you ‘re so blind and dumb about his evil activities and believes and instead you ‘ve just take your glass of wine and intoxicatedly starts to attack H.E. President for the simple reason because you are a Dor (Nyamnyam) while president is a Dinka and another different is that Salva Kiir is a patriotic while you (Paul) is a slave & traitor.
Incase you don’t ‘ve a clue about him (H.E 1st Lt. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit), please you better contact some of your Abunas (Preachers) in your Greater Equatoria, i believe they will satisfies you with everything you want to know about him being a pure christain believer and your recent imbecility claims.

By the way, you ‘ve said something connected to your so called ICC call for SKM the Legal elected president of the Republic of South Sudan, while i ‘ve learned that whatever you said here on this traitorous web might appears somewhere tommorow while driven by your WEST-MASTERS but let me promise you one thing my dear SLAVE and don’t take it as a threat because you always hate, warns and deletes the comments, responds and articles of those who are straight forward on this husband & wife website, so what i wanted to say is this, should your Western Masters attempts to motivatively and biasedly accuse President Kiir of War Crime for the sake of geting rid of him and Dinka, please, I would like to inform you in advance that there will going to be a real war crime or the world is going to witness the real attrocities in South Sudan and believe me you will see this thing with your blind eyes and hear with your dumbed ears.

THE TRUE COLOUR OF DINKA WILL BE SEEN SOON AND IT WILL BE THAT TIME WHERE THE ENTIRE DINKA WILL CHOOSE BETWEEN SLAVERY OF DINKA OR DINKA RECOGNITION IF THE WORLD IS NOT ABLE TO RECOGNISED US FOR THE LAST 50+YEARS IN LIBERATION STRUGGLE TO HAVE THIS DEMOCRACTIC COUNTRY IN WHICH YOUR EVIL IN THE WEST ‘vE BEEN STRUGGLES AT DAY AND NIGHT SUCH THAT THEY CAN INSTALL WHAT WE CORRECTLY CALLED DEMONS-CRAZY INSTEAD DEMOCRACY.

  24. Eli says:

If any one of you have problem with this website why don’t you stay away from it or go and write your comments in Gurtong.net or
write on the SS government website? Just as you have taken over SSTV and shut down Radio Miraya and have killed all the good reporters. I support the Editor and all commentators who want to express their voices here, freedom of expression is the rights of “we the people”. Let nobody intimidate you El Hag, keep on doing what you think is right. The SPLA/M is not even respected in the West anymore, the embassy of SS in Ottowa is non existence. So, you jienges just go and follow your cows and shut up if you can’t stand the pressure of governing a nation leave it to others who already have done it before you knew anything.

    • Shamga says:

      Eli,
You are telling us to stay away from this website, why do you think so? It is not going to happen. We will always stay with everywhere: be on the websites, equatorian land, TV, Juba, Torit, yambio, Yei, Tumbora wherever possible, whether you like it or not.
You equatorians love to be alone because in fact you don’t know what to do in the company of others. That is one of your popular self deception methods your equatorian minds use. It makes some idiots among you feel better to claim and even believe that you like to be alone rather than admit that you can’t communicate properly with others.
You always claim that you like to be alone because other groups such dinka are evil, not trustworthy or bad. Well, I would have to let you know that the reason why you don’t want to interact is because you suffer from your own poor past experiences from within your own families or communities and all you need to do is, get rid of the bad memories. And how do you do that? You interact, learn from and about how other groups deal with situation like yours.
When you find yourself really happy and enjoying don’t you feel like letting your friends come along to share the company? Why would you not want friends and neighbors such Dinka enjoying with you at that time? On the other hand what do you feel like when you find yourself depressed or sad? Most probably you will want to stay in your room as an individual and as a community you will think it is because of the members from other communities that you are in problem. Some people like to stay alone because they are introverts or timid, but introversion itself could be an indication that things are going the wrong way in your life. So Mr Eli, wanting to be alone is a sign the whole equatorial is sick my friend. We are there to give you a mental therapy. W will never go anywhere my friend.

      • Joseph says:

Well Shamga the truth is Dinka (Jienge) act like the Jackals. They have no rules of engaging within each other in their societies like in the civilized people of Equatoria. Jienge neither have social etiquette nor boundaries.

      • Eli says:

        Shamga
Well, well there is the truth; you like to follow us because you think we are enjoying. Yes we are at peace within ourselves unlike you dinkas who can not settle. We allow you to join us before but you never learn a thing and so we sent you away during Kokora, now you ran away from Mesirya, the Nuer and Murle again, this time only Uganda is your only salvation. That’s fine if you want stay Equatoria we will show you again how to be human, because you have nothing to go back for anyways.

  25. lomika says:

    Elhag,

Like David to King Soul, may be we should play for our president the violin, put him in a state of trance to dance the hell out of the demons! what a cognitive loop! better cognitive malfunction!

  26. Toney Toney Matot says:

    Mr Editor in chief,
I thought all this time that you are a neutral entity but to me surprised is your reply to wanilosake who condemn Elhag Paul of instigating hatred among South Sudanese people. you have revealed your true stupidity by condoning this nonsense. This will be my last and first to visit your web of insanity people. you are a curse of this nation.

FROM EDITOR: I TAKE ALL YOUR INSULTS WITH ALL HUMILITY, BUT IF YOU MISUNDERSTOOD MY REBUTTAL TO WANILOSAKI, I WANT TO REITERATE THAT I WAS OBJECTING TO WANILOSAKI INFERENCE OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY.
PLEASE, HANG AROUND A BIT LONGER AND PERHAPS IN YOUR SOBRIETY, YOU WILL CONTINUE CLICKING ON THE SOUTH SUDAN NATION. PEACE….AMEN.

    • Dear Toney Toney Matot:

The Editor in Chief (Dr.Peter Wankomo) has been like that since day one. I regret that you haven’t discovered him earlier. He hates the Dinkacroates more than any Equatorian I have ever known on this website. However hating Dinka is his human and God given right and nobody can blame him, take it away from him or persuads him to love Dinkas. What I hated the most is when he holds our hands behind us and allows his Madi Boys or Equatorians to punch and kick us in the stomachs/eyes by not allowing us to debate freely on his website with his Equatorian warlords. Most of the Dinkas who contribute on this website are thinking of quitting and not because of his hatred of Dinka but of the censorship. The vast majority of my comments or reply to his Madi boys or Equatoria are always blocked and unpublished to this webesite.

Mr. Editor, Where is the freedom of speech on your website when you allow your Equatorian thugs to insult the Dinkas and block the Dinkas from responding to their insults or nonsenses? Is this fairness? You are even becoming more tribalist and worst than president Kiir Mayardit himself. At least president Kiir has some Equatorians in his government. Please keep your hatred of Dinka in your heart and let us debate freely with your Kokora warlords on this website otherwise the Dinkacroates are leaving your website for Nuer and Equatorians. You must Implement and execute the true spirit of freedom of speech where your Dinka enemies can express or defend themselves without censoring their comments or article or else hell up your website. We shall meet on the soil of South Sudan. How would you feel if you are being insulted or falsely accused and you are not allowed to defend yourself?

LGG: ADIEU….. THAT’S YOUR DEMOCRATIC RIGHT OF CHOICE….. NO HARD FEELINGS.

      • GatCharwearbol says:

        LGG:

The Editor in chief told you on severally occasions to stop abusing this website and you pay no heed to him. This is not a SSTV for Dinka who throw their punches and kicks without allowing others to defend themselves. This is a level playing field website and the Editor is not ready to allow you to abuse it. If the Editor is tying back your hands, why did he publish this comment and others?

If you can’t take constructive criticism, you need to go to your comfort zone of SSTV where nobody is going to criticize you. If you think you own the world, think deep again.

LGG, there are countless nastiest comments of yours that were and continue to be posted here and you are not satisfy. What is it you want? The SSTV is there for you to abuse, but certainly no this website. If you want to leave and stop commenting here, you are free to do so. Good bye, Get the hell out of here. The Editor in chief never force you to come comment on his website; you decided on your own and you can decide to quit on your own as well.

FROM EDITOR: THANKS, MR. GATCHARWEARBOL, ESPECIALLY AS YOU’VE BEEN ONE OF THE LONGEST PARTICIPANTS OF THIS WEBSITE.
I’M SURE YOU STILL RECALL THAT THIS IS TOTALLY A PERSONAL EFFORT IN 2003 BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO PROVIDE A FREE FORUM FOR SOUTH SUDANESE AND OTHERS TO AIR THEIR INDEPENDENT VIEWS THEN ON THE WAR OF LIBERATION.
AS A PERSON WHO STRONGLY BELIEVED IN TOTAL INDEPENDENCE OF SOUTH SUDAN, I BECAME CONCERNED THEN ABOUT THE IDEA OF ‘NEW SUDAN’ THAT WAS THE SOLE SLOGAN OF GARANG’S SPLM/A.
SO, I CREATED THIS WEBSITE WITH ITS TITLE OF ‘SOUTH SUDAN NATION’ AS A CLEAR MESSAGE TO THE LIBERATORS AND THE WORLD THAT THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH SUDAN WERE ONLY YEARNING FOR A FREE AND INDEPENDENT COUNTRY.
FINALLY, WE WERE GREATLY GRATIFIED THE ‘SOUTH SUDAN NATION’ PERSEVERED AND OUR NATION WAS NAMED EVENTUALLY AS SOUTH SUDAN AND NOT ‘CUSH’ OR OTHER IRRELEVANT NAMES.
SINCE THE SITE WAS ESTABLISHED, I HAVE BEEN INSULTED AND THROWN ALL TYPES OF ABUSES, BUT INSPITE OF ALL THESE PERSONAL INJURIES, I BEAR NO BITTERNESS AGAINST ANY PERSON OR TRIBE. CRITICISM, ESPECIALLY SO PUBLIC, ISN’T HATRED.
FURTHERMORE, MY SINCERE GRATITUDE GOES TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND THE THOUSANDS OF SUPPORTERS, BELIEVE ME, FROM MONGOLIA TO SWAZILAND AND FROM ICELAND TO JAPAN, WHO WOULD RATHER DISCOURSE IN A DEMOCRATIC WAY INSTEAD OF NEEDLESS ANTAGONISM OR INNUENDOS.
LET’S KEEP THE SPIRIT OF FREEDOM AFLOAT HIGH IN OUR BLEEDING NATION. BEST REGARDS.

        LGG,
While you are crying your crocodile tears, please be reminded that You and your Jieng Chief are using our state power to fight your tribal war against the Nuer. You are using the state GOSS vehicles, you are usuing biliions of dollars that belong to all of us, just look at the street of Juba, your illiterate primitives young men are in the streets changing moneies that are stollen other are not allow to tocuh. Your primitives are running after cows with guns while Juba is being disarmed, you and yours uses the constitutions and the state power to grab lands all over south sudan while other sit with their hands tied to hit back except for the Nuer. Now tell me which one feels worse, your allaged editor not posting your comments or jieng screewing this nation left and right using the state power and the rest can do little about, however that will soon change.

        • jay johnson says:

          Elijah Samuel,

what percentage of revenues does the Equatoria region contributed to south sudan treasury? 0.2%?
FYI. 98% of south sudan revenues come from the oil wells of upper nile region. 55% from Nuer territory and 45% from Jieng territory of Khor Adar, Maluth county. Which millions of dollars do equatorians contribute.

It is time for equatorians to enlist in the army and defend this country. It is your turn to do what the dinka did in the 80s and 90s. Where is the sense of nationalism and patriotism in you?

          • GatCharwearbol says:

Dear Jay Johnson AKA deputy UPDF cooks to LGG:

LGG is the master cook and you are the second man in line. Please do not poison UPDF!

Cook, now that there are many resources in Equatoria that are part of our revenue. There is gold in Equatoria, custom taxes collected at the borders of Equatoria, businesses are in Equatoria and these businesses pay taxes and many others revenues. Please stop being shortsighted and naïve.

Think outside the box and be that mature man you claim to be. You seem to be stuck with the same mentality that you liberated South Sudan when all the 64 tribes of South Sudan contributed equally. Ironic, South Sudan wasn’t liberated by anyone; it was liberated through the self-determination which Dr. Riek Machar longed for which was the ultimate reason why SPLM split in 1991. Shamelessly, you ran back to Dr. Machar’s idea that you once dislike intensely.

Interestingly enough, your master is now talking about National Reconciliation. Whose idea was this again, Sir? Even a deaf person, knows it is Dr. Machar idea, that not long ago you dislike and now you are running back with your mouth wide open to it. What a pathetic people!

Why does it always take Nuers and Dr. Riek Machar to produce workable ideas and you end up refusing to heed to them to only later come back to the very idea you once dislike? What is wrong with your brains, cousin? Please stop eating Marialnyang or Agany; it is what seems to be messing up your brains.

Eating Agany couple with cooking for UPDF will now makes it even worse. I urge you to at least stop one of them, cousin. Quit eating Agany or stop cooking for Uganda soldiers.

          • Lavina Lual says:

I have been reading lot of comments from you repaeting the same question of what percentage contributed by Equatoria to the Nationla purse. Equatoria is saying to hell with Upper Nile Oil beccause Bar elgazal has zero oil as Abyei is still under contest while Equatoria is already contributing by 17%.

Therfore who ever ojects to the fedral idea is from bar elgazal because bar elgazal has nothing to sustain itself as states

      • Waw!! another typical lie of dinka mentality just like Michael Makuei Lueth. How comes your comments is published when you said otherwise.

I am suprise about such claims Mrs Lukudu Gatkouth Garang

    • Deng Hanbol says:

LGG, I think you are aware that the fighting, launch by the freedom fighters, is means to wear down your kingdom by means of a long engagement and so provide the people of South Sudan with the opportunity to dislodge Dinka regime from Juba.

For Naath’s ultimate dedication is to destroy Dinkoracy and our determination would never be faltered. Mr. LGG, what a shame the Dinka regime is depending on mercenary troops, whereas we(the Naath )rely on the bravery of our own gallants. For the Nuer, knowing ourselves to be fighting for our country and our people who were murdered in Juba by Kiir .Thus, we will continue to fight with all our heart and soul until the enemy is overcome. Dinka always believe what Kiir says I wish they were not so gullible.

“Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
LGG, you have SSTV so please leave the editor alone.

  27. Duot Manyok says:

Dear Paul, you hate Dinka very much to the point that you alienate some Dinkas that might sideline with you in opposing president kiir leadership.
Remember when Kiir and his Jienge fought very hard against Khartoum, you were their saving your master in Khartoum. now you are freed, you what to tell us you are somebody. only fool will listen to you. You are well schooled because when your generation were busy fighting the war, you were busy studying for self benefit. Now I notice you are the enemy of Dinka rather than the president Kiir. I love Dr Riak and his colleage because they are very clear they are not after Dinka they are after the leadership of Kiir. You are not their supporter. you have your own Agenda.

    • BILL KUCH says:

      Duot Manyok,
Now you know why some Dinkas sit back and not to support rebels vision of change. They are after the Dinka instead government. They are not smart enough to know how to win hearts or people minds. They focus on tribe and not knowing that they can loose their supporters by generalizing every Dinka regardless of few people in the power. If they knew this then changes needed in government could have have been done by voting out an ineffective administrators. So, in common sense, why would anybody want to support his killer? For instance, look what they rebels looters did in Duk county by destroying hospital which they could use as well whenever they are going to take over the government. Why are they committing more crimes than what they claim government did? Rebels don’t believe Dinkas who are on their side through words support unless they take up arms.

      • Gatkuoth Lok says:

Hi brother Kuch! Your comment is reasonable so to say, but not rational in the sense that the generalization on Jieng is necessary because you people will work hard on correcting the bigot ones among Dinka whom limit themselves on to Dinka world without thinking about the world of common, a world Udiki, Gatluak Bak, Lukudu and Basana all live in peace as brothers in one country regardless of their arbitrary factors.

No rebels looted the properties of Dukpiet, that is a naked misinformation, they might have unknowingly committed some mistakes but not intentional for the pursuit of our liberation, of all South Sudanese of different walks of life to cherish and bring to existence both democracy and federalism. Though Dinka democrats chose to remain sympathizers to Kiir’s regime simply because they are Dinka by tribe and therefore shall remain spectators, that does not bother all we must continue to the end for our encompassing liberation as we did for the self determination. Thanks be to the people of greater Equatoria for having declared their stance by the genius Professor Tombe.

  28. Samuel Modi says:

    Dear Elhag Paul,

Your articles is full with bunch of lies and hatred toward Monyjong (the Dinka). The government of South Sudan belong to all South Sudanes not Monyjong alone. I know you are one of the groups who hit Dinka to death. There are many Dinka live under povert who have nothing to do with Government and you are preaching the current government is for Dinka. Can you criticizes politicians hails from Dinka tribe and live alone the poor Dinka please.

Dear brothers and sisters from Nuer. Most of you are not aware what Mr Elhag paul is after.Mr Paul Elhag hidden agenda is.

First, wishes the government of South Sudan to fall through.

Second, Mr Paul want Dinka and Nuer to fight each other because according to him the are uncivilizes tribe to rule

  29. Duot says:

    Paul is nobody

  30. Duot says:

Paul, when your generation was fighting to liberate you from Jalaba, you were busy schooling for what has turned out you learn nothing. Dr Riak Machar is not after the Dinka people. In fact he has some supporters from Dinka. You have your own agenda. Hated for Dinka. shame on you.

I hear the demands of these spirits are as huge as to turning your whole household upside down or your immediate relative or neighbor. Very shameful! kiir must be brought down at all cost,1.the UNSC must round and pick him up.2.IGAD’s Interim government in SS must push forward.

Whereas Mr.Paul this is a very informative article like the others, keep it up, credits to you!

    • Kidepo says:

      Daughter of Equatoria-

There is nothing imposibble with Kiir he can worhsip the devil and do anything including sacrificing innocent blood just to remain on power. Nothing should surpsie

I heard about late Dr Garang’s spirit disurbing Kiir last week from an immediate colleague from Warap who is married to Kiir’s family. Instead of praying to God and fasting to repent in this lent season, Kiir went ahead calling a witchraft who advised Kiir and both Kiir and the witch went to Late garangs’ tomb. Kiir was told to answered Garang in his tomb that he did not do what garang’s ghost is accsuing him of but Dr Riek is the one doinbg it. His consecutive dreams is that Garang is accusing him of continuing shading blood in the country and that Kiir should stop it

What I have not heard is about the duo or rather jiokjiok dancing at Luri baracks although it is very possible with Kiir the guy is desparate he wants to remain on power at any cost.

Another thing I here these days is the issue of sacrificing more blood of innocent people through the devil worshiping churches like the church of Abaraham Chol in Gudele 8. Most of our Equatorians who pray in such churches come back and say after praying in that church, the night meres/dreams disturb them showing them dinka army prisoners naked coming out of prison at night and killing people, requesting them that Kiir wants more blood.

Daughter of Equatoria I think El hag is more close to right information because these are similar informations we are reciving from Kiir’s relatives. I have always say on this forum Kiir is a devil worhsiper, a vampire , etc

  33. democrat says:

  35. Eusebio Ewot says:

“Therefore, a new and neutral government as argued by South Sudanese and tabled by IGAD in Addis Ababa should take over power in Juba soonest to bring peace”:
Neither Kiir nor Machar should contest for the upcoming elections. All of them are the same.

  36. simon peter says:

You always touch the points, primitive Kiir run all over Africa country like Boswana, Nigeria, and Uganda, to look for powerful Magic who can kill Riek Machar, their problem is Riek Machar, who question their damns policy. they all question this is how Riek Machar can led the country????? while Machar never been president, Instead they can question their primitive? Now he has no where to hide we will got him rain is coming and I CC at the corner, If he is going to Gogrial will got there I don’t know who will save him?
He really driving to hell but we will over come it, no matter what?

  37. denis majour says:

south sudanese people in general have a problem, because we all talked about how much we hates one another than making peace between one another. This is a ashameful thing folks, I would not care if you all disagree with my points but this is a reality and must be address by all concerns citizens of south sudan regardless of the backgorund or what not. All south sudanese contributed for this country during 2011 referendum , and also disagreed with both the government and rebels because they are not fighting for our causes but for their own greed and selfishness.

Kiir was wrong for violating constitution, especially why removing elected governors because of the disagreement between hime and them. Having 70% of neur in army is somthing need to be discusses if we need to speak of truth because why would a country with 62 tribes have 70% of army from one tribe, this itself is a tribalsim. Kiir was even more wrong too for recruiting thausands guard from his own dinka groups.

Thank you to you all brothers and sisters, lets disagree but lets lives and respect one another.

  38. Tom way says:

Dear E.Paul, your article is fantastic, interestingly when you mention the witchcraft; i am telling you that both of them Salva Kiir and Riek Macher are using Witchcraft. But i would like to remind you that even if Dr Riek becomes a president today our problem will not finish and it could be worse than now. Because my experienced the behaviours of Dinka and Nuer are same and they share dreadful behaviours which they are stateless people. And do not take me wrong, i have many friends from both side and they are my brothers and sisters but some of them may have evil in their heart. Again both tribes they don’t believe something called country for all regardless which community do you are coming from look at them in their villages even they don’t build the house and they sleep under the trees and therefore they believe in looting and killing. Being a majority does not qualify you to become a president. And the fact is that Dr Riek is more and worse than Dr Kirr. So what we need is that interim government without Kiir and Riek, before we become like Somalia, DRC,CAR. Soon.

  39. Joana Adams says:

I am very surprised at the level of diversion from the central thesis of El Hag,s article which is about the irrationality of our president relying on the spiritual forces of darkness. As far as we know Mayardit is suppose to be a Catholic. If so why can’t he rely on the spiritual guidance of Arch Bishop Paulino Lokudu or if he doesn’t trust Lukudu because Lukudu is an Equatorian, I’m sure Pope Francis will gladly welcome him to the Vatican.
The question in the mind of ordinary citizen is: why does Mayardit heed to the advice of his spear man( tribal spiritual man) instead of his professed Catholic faith? To add salt to injury, like in many others areas of our public life, Kiir doesn’t trust anything South Sudanese. Otherwise he will not have to dispatch his wife (as per you tube) to seek prophetic guidance to what might befall him from a Nigerian TV preacher TB Joshua. There is nothing wrong with seeking for spiritual protection for his family. What concerns citizens is that the visit of the first lady was followed by visits of three government officials to TB Joshua with official letter from President Mayardit. As if that was not enough, our Vice President was dispatched to seal the appointment of the TV evangelist as presidential advisor on religious affairs, which he has been accepted and is awaiting inauguration!
And our Vice President had this to say:” Riek Machar has his Ngundeng on his side, and now we have a living prophet on our side.” Sudan Tribune. If this is not lunacy what is it?
President Kiir was voted in power by all South Sudanese and therefore any citizen has a legitimate right to criticise his reign which obviously has landed us into a civil war. To claim that legitimate critism of a president is criticism of his tribe is ludicrous. To be able to distinguish between a president and his tribe is not rocket science but for the dinkocrats and their advocates, Kiir and Jeing are one and the same thing. Criticising Kiir is hating the Dinka, what lunacy is this? This is the senseless blackmail which all right thinking South Sudanese must reject. Don’t expect to be loved when you show no love to your fellow human beings and butcher them like animals. In fact you love your animals( cattle) more than you love other South Sudanese.
Finally the delusional attempt to be recognised by the whole world has broken loose. If only the dinkocrats can accept that non Dinkas too have political rights and stakes of South Sudan, they would not have brought war on the country. Also when we elect a presiident we do not expect him to abdicate powers invested in him to some spiritual forces of darkness. As Christians the Bible tells us that God has given us free will to make decisions for which we stand accountable and therefore Mayardit cannot surrender responsibilities to the spearman or to TB Joshua or whatever power he consults. Ultimately Kiir will have to answer for his wrong decisions, here or in the life after. It’s very sad that Garang’s ghosts are tormenting him because we want him alive to answer charges of gross human rights abuses and genocide by the ICC at The Hague before his comrade Lucifer can take him to join his lot in Hades.
What is very clear from Kiir,s manoeuvres is that he is afraid of death. I can’t imagine a veteran soldier who is so scared of death. How can you be so afraid of death when you have caused death of thousands and still counting? If Kiir is so afraid of death or the fear of death then he needs to the right thing: stop the bloodshed in the country and step down.
As regards the venom pouring out against the editor, no one is forcing anyone to use his website. The good thing with being a consumer is that you have the power to choose where to take your customs. What you don’t have is the legitimacy to force him or her(editor) to conform to your unreasonable demands.
Sorry again for a long comment.

    • Shamga says:

Thanks for singling him out. At least you are a south sudanese today, not just jur as you have always been. I don’t know what made you astray from your usual hate prompting comments today.
Make him your punching back; no one is going to say anything, except for a small group of lunatic, stooges and leeches sucking blood out of south sudanese through him. But going as far as stereotyping the whole dinka as a people we are forced to his side and defend ourselves and him – something nuer forced upon us, hence, we are now kicking them in their asses in their own jungles. In fact, Riek Machar or Risky Masochist is the stupidest person in southsudan, and Salva Kiir is the second, and anyone who needs change must make sure this post figurative dominance of learning hatred inciting anecdotes from elderly ones, dominated by them is eliminated. This must include those doing the same in UK, US and others within like Lado Gore. We all need a prefigurative society that involves both a politics of creation, and one of breaking up inherited monotonous and undelivering hierarchies. So to get to that end we don’t need to praise any of this guys over others. They are all equally there for status quo, they all have to go. Only then will you see a real difference.

    • Diu J.Kuek says:

Ei Hag Paul I do agree with you in this article it seem that as you narrated all the rout cause of this destruction of today we the ordinary citizens of South Sudan we can see and we raise our voices to correct the direction that our Governent has heading us but our President and his inner circle around him were totally opposit to the course of the people yes our President may be confused by so many advise as conflict of interests among his advisors as well as national and international advisors and opportunists who doesn’t, care about the future of this nation among these we have differents group one is those of greater Bahr el Ghazal elders they have their own advice to the president and another group are those who came from NCP pretending as members of the SPLM but were been sent by Sudanese Govt to destroy the SPLM party for their evil wishing they are hope that two Sudan May reunite again which will never come those wrong group are advise our president to kill his own people such planned has been made including Nuer politicians but they don,t excepting this outcome of 15/12/2013 has come in opposit way .as Nuer have prominent leaders who are very close to the president among those Hon,ble Magok Rundial ,Dr Raced Riek Gai Kok ,Dr Joseph Nguen Munytiel ,Abdel Gana Tut Gatluak and James Kok Ruai these guys they were thought that the planned has been assissanation of Dr Riek Machar but it has turn to ethnic cleansing as whole Nuer community whether you are in Juba or any part in South Sudan Nuer is subject to murder

  41. Rumunu says:

In the actual sense of the event of 15th Dec 2013, there was no coup attempt. This was an ideology from the Chief adviser and Proxy ruler of South Sudan Mr. Museveni to silence the political opponents in the country. One can recall, during the election of Uganda that took place in 2001, Museveni labelled his serious challenger Dr. Kiiza former Presidential candidate of Reform Agenda now called FDC of being a rebel and charged with treason as such it forced this comrade to go to exile in South Sudan.

President Kiir, knew about what Museveni did for his challengers, he immediately seek for the advice of how to silence Dr. Riek and others who are politically well versed compared to him, as such he considered them to be threat to him in the up coming election of 2015. President Kiir directed Maj. Gen. Marial to disarm soldiers from the tribe of Dr. Riek so as to enable him to deal with these guys in any way he wants. If his of coup attempt claims were true, then Maj. Gen Marial should be part of the planed coup and if not where are the senior military officers and army men to execute the planed coup? Usually, in any coup to take place there must be military personals involved, otherwise is not easy for a civilian to topple Military Government, whatsoever the case may be. Yest is true these guys have military backgrounds, but now they are civilians because they were retired by Kiir himself to give him room to rule South Sudan the way he likes.

The more Kiir keeps on taking advise from Museveni, the more his Government falls apart, because Museveni keeps on giving him wrong advise in order to fail totally and he (Museveni) remains the only King in Graet Lakes Region.

    Orirogo.

  42. Choromke Jas says:

We told you so. The combination of Kiir and Wani was bound to fail, fail bad. Well, as Joana put it, how can a soldier have necrophobia (unreasonable fear of death). Death is the business of a soldier. He must be ready to die. Mr president, if you were well learned you would know that death follows birth like night follows sun. That is why, you should make life for you and other pleasant; because tomorrow, we all must go. So Mr president you thought you would live forever? What a travesty. Killings other ahead of you does not make you immortal. Actually, Satan is the author of death.

  43. Chul Mi Bor says:

“But (Kiir) now faced with the ugly outcome of his ethnic cleansing policies; Kiir is now in denial of his role in creating the mess and tries to attribute blame to evil spirits such as ghosts. The ethnic cleansing of the Nuer people that he sanctioned as expected degenerated into collapse of the army (SPLA) along tribal lines with some Nuer generals rebelling against the regime.” Well said Mr. Paul. I agree with you 100%. Many thanks for this wonderful article.

  44. Editor,
I have now extremely believes that can be spoken by non Jieng or Door in number they are, to give an Examples are those of Hag el Paul, Wani tombe, Domas, is uncountless heedless, divisive and insensitive etc. It is not an insult but true. majority of non Jieng doesn;t speak the trueth including the EQuartorians that are now benefiting from Kiir his government more than others and yet they are against Kiir. yes Kiir will go at any time and if it happens for people like Riak Machar to power, it will not be told to you but you will yourselves see, believes and witness the bitterness of non Jieng leadership as you lovely and tribally put it always. the above writers and Jieng enemies at the same times are luck to get the nation they can just express their needless and useless opinions but if it could have be a nation ruled by Bashirdit they [writers] would known for themselves because this has moved from government criticism to politically tribal ploy and propoganda. what is always express by non Jieng is most and uncontradictable unhelpful. yes you may not agree with me but the truely facts is true. look the mentioned Jieng foes writers, how do they talk and represent themselves in an affairs of South sudan, Editor i can assure you even 11 years old from Jieng can’t say what above writers uses to speak out everyday beacause Jieng truely, historically and humanly believes and support what unit and make a sense. look our brothers those Kuir e Garang, Joseph Garang Deng,Pager Ajang, ju st to mention a few how do they talk about the suffering of our nation South Sudan and they are truely Jieng which you say Jieng are not uniting with other people. Iam tired of insight writers claims to be educated.

  45. Alier Gai says:

    Paul,
I thought that the government has been already removed due to the article you wrote in January with proposals of a regime change put forward. You threw your mind out that it was a done deal in place, that transitional government will come soon to effect. Your tone was so foisted with as a matter of time to get rid of Jieng and its government. Where is it, Paul? Now, we are approaching April with no new government in Juba, and that determination is nowhere to be found and was a delusional one. It is a sad period seeing you going back to December and January in confusion and shame again, talking about Kiir’s witchcraft while leaving yourself and the like group as white as snow by tongue. South Sudan is a country of people who follow self-identity than the national identity we should forge together, and that is the real witchcraft we are all sharing in execution. Lying, hating others, and saying anything in hurting another human-being, intentionally, are elements that are contributing to witchcraft’s formation. So, witchcraft could come in a language form, could be a word of mouth, and could be in an ideal form. Paul, you are sharing the stage with Kiir, Macher, Beny bieth, Ngundeng, Nyantkang, and many other Kujurs around you. You don’t know the meaning of witchcraft. The best definition of a witchcraft is you, according to knowledge dictionary, the one who performs evil activities.
Good governance will never take effect unless you and I, the hated Jieng joint hands together in restructuring our future as citizens of one nation. But we have to take this in our minds first. Any transitional government needed to replace Kiir before 2015 election will have to be led by another Dinka. That is the universal constitutional code of the “majority rule.” And if it the case then why we do not wait election instead of replacing Dinka by another Dinka during this political unrest? It is what is in the plate. What the whole world around us is looking at is the guy who is fighting the government. There is no need to say something here and act in opposite way there. The world is studying colors of this man. Marcher is not the person who should replace democratically elected head of state by force in two years, after South seceded from the North. No one would wish the chaos to double while the blood thirst swellhead human is in power. It would cause another blood in a relief to assuage the grief of the current. The assumption that Macher is next after Kiir has to be examined critically, and should be discarded for humanity’s sake.
The class of village graduates as Paul, is destroying South Sudan because of their impatience and a lack of loyalty in their hearts. Paul, Ramba, Tombe, and many others like them, do need help from the entire community in order to behave well once again. Their articles, month-by-month, are robbing their capacities and knowledge’s balance to the point of insanity dwelling. They are disorderly public shame due to their impelling personalities.

    • Alier Gai
after skimming through your opinion above, I came up with the following:
      1. You are a dinka from Bor who believes that jengge are born to rule.
      2. Dinka especially the Bor jengge hate Riek for his revolutionary stance of 1991
      3. You are a dinka who believes that other south sudanese are second class citizen, a typical mundukuru mentality. Mundukuru believed that they are the “waled and bint al beleit” whereas the rest are not.
      4. You are ignorant of the fact that Kiirler (Kiir) was not elected by South Sudanese to govern for 5years. But Kiirler was elected in 2010 by all Sudanese in a united Sudan.

Thanks to the Nuer, the nationalists who made all of the above insignificant. They have brought jengge erra to an end and liberated South Sudanese from dinka yoke.

Anyway, in relation to your objection to Riek’s leadership, it doesn’t matter any more. Whether you like it or not, Riek has a right to serve the nation of South Sudan. It is not Bor dinka, or anyone else to determine his political aspiration.

      • Alier Gai says:

        Sudan Sudan-I am

I value nuer, Dinka and other tribes alike regardless of their cultural differences. Our togetherness has been a cultural blessing even though we have difficulty in accepting our diversity on time. And know that any submission to the idea of born to rule is part of a low self-esteem complex dwelling, because if you believe in that superficial tarnishing of the name Dinka and Dinka Bor (the born to rule) in particular, then you defeat yourself. I stayed with nuers during bush times and I considered them friends and brothers with nothing of the second class in my own right, and so what? There is a difference between being calm and being impatient in what you do. Macher is just a bush adapted one to home stead, and he is unfit to do us any good. It is better for him to worship Ngundeng in his hiding without bothering us. Calling that stupid act a “thank to Nuer to bring Jieng era to an end in the liberation of South Sudan” is useless and it is below human comprehension. Dinka’s yoke of liberation is not a bad idea for Southern independent we are enjoying together. How long are you going to stay as rebels? Five decades went by already and still practicing the same old tactic of power quest. You are caught between home and bush, and looks confused where to go now. Your killings should be reversed so that you live well with the rest of us, or otherwise there will be no way our coexistence would come to effect. Not Dinka Bor who hates those wrongdoers alone, but any reasonable human-being who loves life and other man, can deny killings, destruction of properties, and as well the lootings, for humanity’s sake. Whatever the case in the end of your arguments, no exceptions to let Dinka and Dinka Bor be your ultimate scapegoat in time of your own mess. What human-being are you if don’t talk about peace and unity, instead of Macher? The future of South Sudan is written without Macher.

    Dear Editor

Allow me to register my sincere appreciation for the great work you are doing. By offering these South Sudanese people a platform where they can freely express their views after it has been denied to them by the cancerous dinkocracy, you must be one hell of a patriot! And we admire you.

However people like the so-called “Shamga” can still be seen trying the out fashioned bullying tactics. If he didn’t get it f well from you, I would like to repeat it for him to understand the point better,

Indeed as you said Mr Editor, “We are sworn here to fight against the State terror by the ruling tribal security and the targeted killing of freedom loving south Sudanese” I couldn’t agree more.

As for brother Elhaj Paul, I have followed every bit of his writings with a great deal of admiration and appreciation. As a result of his wonderful writings we are now seeing diehard dinkocrat agents taking up pen names like “Lukudu” or ” Wani Losoke”……….etc.

May Almighty God give you the health and the stamina you need to keep this website running as it has become the only free “parliament” where south Sudanese can actively engage in discussing issues of their beloved land.

Never mind some of crude behaviours and uncultivated comments from our junior friends who are new to free speech. I can see that they are slowly learning to express themselves albeit still violent in many cases. I know you could have grandfathered many of them, yet you chose to engage them as equals. That’s what makes in fact makes you special.

    Keep it up Dr Wankomo.

    Yours
    Dr Ramba.

THANK YOU VERY DEARLY: FROM EDITOR

      Mr Ambago Ramba,
Imagine yourself as the parent of two or more children (for some, this may not require imagination!). You know how difficult it would be for you to treat them fairly and justly. Would you find yourself giving more time and attention to one at the expense of the others? Would your fondness for one exceed the feelings that you have for the other? Would you feel any guilt about your feelings and behaviors or would this be a normal part of your life? Have you considered how your actions may affect each of the children? These questions and others are very important to consider given the strong emphasis Mr Editor give to democracy. He is like a father and his actions may affect different Southsudanese interacting here. He created this website out of maturity, having perceived such differences from us. He knew he would treat different people with varying opinions equally like a father does to his different children, that is, with equality. And this therefore is the reason why when we astray in opinion he replies politely and in a correcting manner.
The bottom line is: don’t impose on him your intrinsic prejudicial treatment of individuals based on their actual or perceived tribal connection. He is not like you and won’t listen to your bulshit.
I know you want those with varying opinions such as me to be blocked so that you have only those who have similar sentiments at all times, then you assume everything is in your way and okay back there in southsudan and then you feel happy. This is called delusional disorder. My friend we represent a huge portion of many with such opinions and having us blocked would only be an achievement for you on the web but not on the ground. You are in London and practically you do know much that happens on daily bases in southsudan, and I thought having people like me would help you there to re-evaluate your assumptions and delusions about groups and individuals.
As an individual you have difficulty with one particular group (dinka), and your litany of articles here on this web are evidence, as a result of a stereotype you hold regarding them. But this rigid belief in stereotypes blinding you to lump individuals into groups and groups into individuals and looking down up on them together is driven by a desire to reinforcing your deteriorating own self esteem. The whole Southsudan has failed because of Kiir, Riek, and all the elderly ones such as you, Wani Tombe, Lado Gore who just dwell on the past rather than look to the future. They are individuals and have to be blame individually, as you can see I didn’t mention their tribal memberships. It is known you always want someone to blame for your own failures and weaknesses—a scapegoat. No ones has a problem with that. If it feels better for you to blame single groups for the failures of all than to believe that you did not have what it takes to succeed yourself, then do it. Lot of times you are filled with anger and having dinka as group to focus your anger on, you think you can avoid having your anger spill out onto mates in stupidity without damaging your relationships with them. Well, no problem again if it gives a mental therapy, but beware you have someones to fight back. But don’t rush to the editor and then you try to persuade him to block them so that you get a free sphere where you kick freely. If you don’t need this then don’t start it.
The owner of the web is not with you in your club of divisive anecdotes, rehtorics and backward status quos, and will only take my writings as opinions.

    Jieng folk,

I wonder why the blood of other are cheaper and scrub before your eyes while the blood of you untamed fellow jieng seemed to be expensive, I have been following whenever something written deeper touching you, all of you will jump from pan to fire, but the reality remained like Elhag said, you are arrogant, uncivilized, rude and violence, this is not how a nation like ours with multicultural and diversity should be built. Elhag you are my hero keep writing and tell the world what is untold in south Sudan in the dinka dominated dynasty where kiir is blood sucking parasite.

  50. Atem Garang Kuol Choldit says:

    Dear all,
Let me just inform/confirm that President Salva Kiir suffers from acute Clinical Depression and has been both an in an out patient of Karen Hospital in Nairobi-Kenya. He has been flown out of Juba several times in the dead of the night to JKIA for urgent Psychiatric attention. He has repeatedly been advised to kick the bottle by Dr. Kariuki, his Psychiatrist at Karen Hospital, because alcohol is both an anti-depressant and a depressant and does not mix well with the medicine prescribed for him. The reality is that however much we love Kiir he might not be mentally fit to govern RSS let alone direct the affairs of his family. So the Paul fellow might have a few valid points. Riak equally has some health issues, the pressing one being going blind in both eyes according to Doctors in the USA and GB. This is it. & hey, insulting one another will never help other dividing RSS people further. Look for real solutions. Shame on the tribalist chaps out there. If you are fairly literate like I observe above and not put it to good use, what will our illiterate brethren on the ground do? Kill each other? They are already doing the latter. Don’t aggravate it, mitigate it.

Thanks very much every discussant in this blog. I have just browsed through for the first time and I’m so delighted to discover such a great reasoning exist in the minds of the young south Sudanese.
As my personal belief “LET THE PILLARS OF OUR NATION SPEAK THEIR MINDS IN HARD TALKS” because and open confrontation for the truth is better than a hidden love.
Our nation today is in total disgrace today because we believe in our tribes and regions being our communities, and it would be better to multiply all other by zero. We also believe those who sought asylum during the war are fake South Sudanese. Those who physically held the gun believe they are more original than others.
Dividing the population to small groups of bloody acts that takes our nation to total destruction and collapse is what the majority of south Sudanese do including those in the government (e.g the action of Kiir and Riak). The Equatorians being neutral in the case of the two people’s egos, I don’t see like a problem as some people writes, it only means creating a peaceful environment that can harbour the innocents including the IDPs who loves peaceful co-existence.
I’m worried, like the father like the son may be the final nail to the coffin of destruction if the young generation reason like our fathers again.
Instead we should look at one another as brothers and sister’s keepers creating a national community and neglecting the above belief of what a community is.
Speaking/writing hardly with free minds and love for one another for the sake of our nation needs honesty and reasoning.
Our fathers in the government the Nuers, the Dinkas and the Equatorians have done more harm than good and every rational mind can detect that, but that does not mean the young generation should finger point to one another considering where they grew up from, instead of sharing ideas worth spreading and transforming.
We should struggle to fight the ego in our personal lives if we want to make a distinguished generation that will bring the rays of bright days to shine in our nation.
Reasoning as a loving and caring South Sudanese with appreciation of all discussants on this blog, we need to reason with blank minds for better solutions. We need to train ourselves and also to convince those around us to pay for the price of leadership and reconciliation which is “SACRIFICE”.
