SPLM/SPLA-IO captures Paloich Refinery and asks oil companies to close down and evacuate workers

May 19, 2015;

Latest News: The SPLM/A-IO forces under Dr. Riek Machar reportedly has captured a refinery near the Paloich Oil fields in Upper Nile state, this is in line with their stated objective that they wanted to cut off President Kiir’s SPLM last source of money that has enabled Kiir to fight the rebels.

According to Aljazeera live TV broadcast, the capture of this oil refinery will severely suffocate the last source of income for the Juba government of Kiir.

Now read the latest press release from SPLM/A-IO:

For Immediate Release

SPLM/SPLA leadership has asked all oil companies operating in Upper Nile state to shut down their operations and evacuate their staff immediately. We also ask them to do the process of closing down in a safe manner that will not damage the oil facilities and cause environmental damage. This is a matter of urgency!

This is due to the ongoing clashes between our forces and pro-Salva Kiir’s troops near the oilfields.

Our gallant forces have repulsed and pursued government forces up to the oilfields this Tuesday morning. We have on Tuesday night captured Tangrial Bil, the site of oil the refinery, which is about 10 kms away from the main Paloch oilfields. SPLM/SPLA forces from a different direction are also 5 kms away from Melut town.

In the Tuesday clashes we have captured government’s warship mounted with heavy artilleries. In response to the government’s full scale offensive on our positions in the three states of greater Upper Nile region, we have decided to take control of the oilfields and deny Salva Kiir from using the oil revenues to perpetuate the war.

James Gatdet Dak

Machar’s SPLM-IO claims capture of Malakal town as govt. declares Gen. Olong a rebel

JUBA, Daily Nation, Saturday,16, 2015;

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS: The government SPLA spokesman, Col. Phillip Aguer, today, Saturday, May 16th, officially announced that General Johnson Olong has joined the SPLM-IO under Dr. Machar and “he’s no longer with the government and should now be treated as a rebel.”

According to Juba government minister of information, Michael Makuei, who also acts as government spokesman, “it was (Gen) Olony who transported the rebels across the river bank to Malakal. This means that he is not with the government. He has rebelled and will be treated as a rebel.”

Rebels in South Sudan have launched a large-scale attack on the strategic northern oil hub and state capital of Malakal, an official and aid sources said Saturday.

Fierce fighting was reported to be raging inside the town, situated in the country’s oil-rich north, in what appeared to be a major counter-attack against a several weeks-old offensive by government troops.

“The rebels of Riek Machar have attacked Malakal from all directions, from east, west, north and south, and the fighting up to now is continuing,” Information Minister Michael Makuei told AFP.

He said government troops had so far “managed to repulse the rebels” to keep them from capturing the town, the capital of Upper Nile State.

Malakal has changed hands several times since South Sudan’s civil war broke out in December 2013, when President Salva Kiir accused his sacked deputy Machar of attempting a coup. The country has since been carved up along ethnic lines, divided between Kiir’s Dinka tribe and Machar’s Nuer tribe.

Since the war began tens of thousands of people have been killed in the fighting in the world’s youngest nation, which gained independence from Sudan in 2011.

POWERFUL COMMANDER

Officials said the attack began just before darkness on Friday, with rebels crossing the White Nile river on boats — apparently aided by a local militia commander from the ethnic Shilluk people who had been a pro-government general.

The commander, Johnson Olony, is a powerful commander in the key oil-producing state of Upper Nile. He has also been accused of abducting scores of children to fight in his force.

“It was Olony who transported the rebels across the river bank to Malakal,” Makuei said.

Aid workers in the town who spoke to AFP reported intense gunfire as well as the thump of heavy explosions from artillery or mortar fire.

On Friday a report by the regional bloc pushing peace efforts accused South Sudan’s army of carrying out “grave” human rights abuses in their all-out offensive.

East Africa’s eight-country IGAD bloc — whose peace initiative collapsed in March — condemned the “unwarranted and appalling actions” of the government, reporting “violence targeting civilians, grave human rights abuses and destruction of villages.”

The assault, which began in late April, is one of the heaviest government offensives in the 17-month long civil war, with gunmen raping, torching towns and looting aid supplies in the northern battleground state of Unity, according to the UN and aid agencies.

The UN’s aid chief in South Sudan, Toby Lanzer, this week said the number of civilians left without “life-saving aid” due to the offensive in Unity alone had risen to 500,000, after the UN and aid agencies pulled out due to a surge in fighting.

Over half of the country’s 12 million people are in need of aid, with 2.5 million people facing severe food insecurity, according to the UN.

  1. Makuei Lueth,

You are a liar, a mispresenter, an exaggerator and a disgrace Dinka’s Minister. For your information, Gen. Johnson Olony’ forces have been in control of Malakal for over three weeks now with the government controls airport. So it was Kiir’s tribal militias who made unsuccessful attempt to take Malakal from Gen. Olony’s forces. The government attacked Mr. Olony’s forces in Malakal from all directions South, East, and west as you alleged in an attempt to dislodge Shilluk’s Militias from Malakal. Therefore, what you reported to AFP news was the opposition of what is happening in Malakal right now. Lastly, the SPLM-IO forces did not involve in the battle over the control of Malakal because they are not invited by Gen. Olony yet. Please refrain from blaming the SPLM-IO. for the battle you initiated.

    • War in SS cannot end. due to misunderstanding btweet the gov;t it selfe .late as see the government it self in other State like Aweil they have confflict by themselfe in the political that is abig problem well us to make some of highest gov’t joint SPLA IO

    • To Bentiu Ramaran says:

There is an old saying out West “fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me”! Olony fool the government twice now and therefore it’s a shame to the government. The message to Olony is; when the government recapture Malakal; Olony would either be dead or escape to Bashire that he once rebelled against. The question is; would Bashir receive him with open arms again? Well; it’s the scenario that’s yet to be seen!

Let’s the war continues until the perpetrators of killing Nuers innocent people in Juba must be killed. We have nothing to do with criminal Salva Kiir and his group called useless Dinka council of elders whom were caused kokora in Juba 1980’s.

  2. Thoman Lual Mading says:

This is blatant lies. Your forces initiated the fight thinking that 8000 SPLA soldiers will easily defeat Olony forces, but unfortunately they defeated you badly by the power of Nyikang.

You can’t go to Shilluk land expecting that you will simply defeat them. Murle lesson is a good example for you learn from. Also SPLA affairs in the Upper Nile State should not be handled by those lacking military experience like Stephen Dhieu who believe tribe is above S. Sudan.

  3. Elhag Paul says:

This is propaganda of SPLM/A in government. The truth is President Kiir’s army and militia attacked the forces of maverick General Johnson Olony at 5.00pm local South Sudan time. SPLM in opposition is not involved in any offensive. I think the Daily Nation soon will lose its credibility by parroting Kiir’s lies and nonsense. Rumours has it that the Jieng Councill of Elders was locked in a heated debate about what to do with the Chollo people. I hope this new offensive does not lead to victimisation of the Chollo people. SPLM in opposition should come out with a press statement preferably by the leader himself to dispel the lies of Juba.

    • Alier Gai says:

Is not lie, johnson olony attacked spla forces by surprise while still in negotiation with his army’s superiors by ending their grudges. The propaganda is confirmed to be true without further ado, and the daily nation is often correct than both s. Tribune and s. Sudan Nation news outlets.

          Omang Rollo,
Just for your clarification, a news outlet is an expansive word and therefore, the Southsudannation.com fits somewhere therein.
All those major sites became known as news outlets by their own definition, originality, persistence and efforts.
For your information, we can report news, per se, or publish opinion pieces and personal information or group information.
If, for instance, the SPLM-IO forwarded to us some latest ‘breaking news,’ on an event that just occurred, that would be defined as ‘news.’ This would be synonymous to BBC, AJ or a Mongolian news site, attaining that title of a news outlet.
Anyway, best of luck as you enjoy this website.

Your correction is accepted and thank you. The website belongs to moral downers who see southern world on the opposite side of their views. But let me give this webcast the big name called news outlet though not deserving it. The editor might get crazy about not praising him for the work he is doing. He is rearing one human devil and one human good in one mind and in one body and in two spirits of wrongdoing and that of rightdoing. He is sometimes fair but always. It is bad that he is working for the destruction of our country. It is good that he is not running for any office now and in the future. You are part of those in the nascent and failing country who don’t like to accept the diversity of opinion and free speech expression.
Like it or not, the Southsudannation website is patriotically proud of being a pioneer in the lead of expression of free speech, as we are among the first website to be established.
From our establishment, we have enabled South Sudanese of all tribes to volubly criticize the SPLM, the SPLA, late Garang and all those after him like the hopeless Kiir and Machar and all.
Please, focus on the goal, that’s saving the nation from inevitable collapse and impending disintegration, rather than senselessly trying to shoot down the good messenger, the Southsudannation.com. Just for your limited perspective, the internet today is the fastest and most powerful media, most accessible and quickly readable than the printed media.

The God of Israel chooses Joshua to fight on behalf of Israelis After Moses. Joshua fought many wars with many tribes, but because God chooses him to save people of Israel, Joshua won the wars and become a leader of Israelis until his death. Today Israel is a powerful nation because of Joshua.
Regarding the war in South Sudan, God will never allow those who are fighting for tribalism to win , but those who are fighting for the future of people of South Sudan will win. God is looking for people hearts, but not people eyes. I am a God or Jesus, but I am a simple South Sudanese who God calls to tell the true message from Him. I tell you brothers and sisters the war of South Sudan is near to the end, but God will end this war likes the war of Israel. Joshua won the war through God support.
Brothers and Sisters remember who you are and where are you coming from in 2011? Remember who fought for independent? Because you do not want to listen to Him and support those who He chooses to fight on behalf of innocents people, He God says, I will show you who am I.
Those who fight for leadership will face the consequences, but those who fight on behalf of the country will win the war like Joshua in Israel. The war of Malakal will be like the war of Jericho when Lord says to Joshua “see I have given Jericho into your hand Joshua 6:2.” God will favor those who humble themselves to Him, but He will discipline those who do not listen to Him. South Sudan is belonging to all South Sudanese, but God is not happy for the way some people behave toward others.
God chooses the leaders no matter how they look like. Many people talk about education, but did Joshua has any qualification when God chooses Him to lead the Israelis? Did God chooses Joshua because he has education? Today many South Sudanese are fighting because they are educated, but God never chooses you because you are educated. God chooses you because you love your people. Whoever fight will never win this war because of education and tribalism, but if you fight on behalf of Southern Sudanese as large you will win. God is not joking.

    God bless South Sudan

In around 180s God sends our prophet Ngundeng, but we ignored him and called him Satan because his messages had not been considered just he is a brown skin man and cannot be called prophet. It is something in our blood we ignore our man of God who God calls to tell his messages. There are many Southern Sudanese God calls to bring the change to Southern Sudanese through his word. Brothers and sisters, even though you call us liars or Satan still God will never stop talking to us because God is God.

      Dear Prophet:

Who is Joshua? I mean, who do you think is fighting on behalf of innocent S Sudanese people! Kiir or Dr. Riek? Please tell us!

      • Lavina Lual says:

I rebuke all the nonsensical diversion of truth (that God himself is a life witness in the RSS) committed by Kiir regime from 2011 to date in Jesus Name!. “Christianity is all about the truth and nothing else”, or otherwise whoever serve the God of Israel falsely will be serving his/her own enemies meaning it will add to his/her current sins for the success of thy enemies in Jesus Name!.

Given the crises in the country, kiir has slide back to the level of Moses as the RSS got independent in 2011 with president Kiir as their 1st President, although kiir regime is murderous like King Pharaoh and Herod and the RSS is now waiting for Joshua to lead them.

Kiir cannot and will never be liken to Joshua because Joshua was not a duo dancer demon like Salva Kiir Mayardit but a dedicated Christian who never worship other gods like President Kiir?; Joshua was not killing his own people of Israel whom the God of Jacob gave him power to lead like President Kiir who massacred the Nuer on Dec 2013, Fartit and Balanda in 2014, Didinga in 1999, Murle in 2012-2013, and many other serial killings of minorities in their own God given backyard; nor did Joshua allowed the practicing of land grabbing, Intimidations of minorities, pandemic corruption, Joshua was not having sex with concubines/women in his offices like what Kiir is doing now and all the demonic elements existing in Kiir regime during his (Joshua) empire?. “President Kiir rule is likening a mixed personality of two demonic kings; Pharaoh and Herod” period!

May the Lion God (Jesus Christ Himself) of the tribe of Judah (minorities) consume all the pharaohs and herod in the RSS who have massacred our people, intimidating the minorities, preaching lies in the internet to the houses through offices, the streets and all the corridors all over the world in Jesus name!. May the almighty God uproot the devil on the cross and the whole satanic tree of kiir that have voted against the chosen people of God-Israeli by voting for a Palestinian State who were together with the Arabs the number one enemies of the people of SS………..HOLY-GHOST-FIRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to President Kiir and his cronies all over the world

Kiir is under God’s judgment and God cannot exempt him anymore because the wages of sin is death; Romans 6:23 so shall it be in Jesus Name! Even if he try to maneuver himself to remain in power forever as he is anticipating, still his malicious record in heaven and earth has cursed him to death; proof is his current health status is worrisome meaning he will die any time from now; the country he leads has economically collapsed; his army are defecting from him day and night; he is losing the international support from all counties except his friend-M7 another devil worshiper; his country is under famine attack already of which Joshua never undergo such afflictions because the spirit of God of Israel has not left Joshua the right leader unlike Kiir who is right now directed by King Lucifer the looser at the end of all battles who only knows hwo to threaten but with no and success because Jesus is the KING!.

Yes, God is not a joking God that is why the Kiir could not contained the rebellion of one tribe he massacred from Dec 2013 to date because the God of Jacob is with the righteous; Romans 1:17. Kiir committed authorities to his people he was supposed to lead, and again he refused to repent, meaning the God of Israel will bless Kiir’s enemies no matter what. I also agree the war of Malakal is like Jericho and J Olony is the Joshua of the Shilluk Kingdom for the case of Shilluk as he is liberating his land from land grabbers tyrannies that is why he captured the area and brought down the helicopter belonging to the Govt and the story will keep on going until God will stand with the truth but nothing else at the end day!. God chooses people because of their love and diligent in serving their people, but again the same GOD of Jacob, Isaac and Abraham is the only supreme God that has powers to get rid of fake and false leaders and prophets who fail to abhor to his covenant he signed with them just exactly like the covenant God signed with Kiir in 2011 in the face of independent. Kiir was supposed to be the Joshua after Moses (Dr Garang for our case), unfortunately God’s spirit left Kiir from 2011 to date especially after Dec 2013 massacre; and many other upholding events occurred under his misrule

        Thank You Lord!
For setting your judgment upon Kiir and his regime because you the Lord of Lords and God of gods has proofed that no leader can be exempted from judgment once they fall out from your way just like Moses after falling out from you, he died and Joshua took chance. After you the God that gave South Sudanese the RSS has discovered Kiir to be Pharaoh and Herod, we are very confident that Kiir is out and it is just a matter of time because all the sign and wonders have proofs; by the ailing economy, daily defection in his army, his bad health status, devastating economy, several war lord’s emerging, break in the law and order, etc. God almighty, the RSS is shading blood and tears once more awaiting for you to give them a leader who respect all ethnicities, who fears God and have respect to human rights, international community, neighbors in the same way you brought King David from nowhere as replacement to come and lead to safe Israel from all the several war mongers by then

In Jesus Name, I have prayed, Amen!

  5. Alier Gai says:

We now know the death of general is part of the current on going war in the area. Lam akol coordinated the plan with the UN and with macher to fight the war under their renewed agreement, which spells out that dinka is their ultimate enemy number one regardless of their political shortcomings. Macher and akol are clear in their agreement to militarily grab either unity-bentiu or upper nile-malkal, as a center for operations, and then to hunt down the spla-kiir in the region. The sudan and ethiopia will be their major suppliers based on that agreement. They will bring in guns and weaponaries, military equipments, and food will be also supplied to a new movement. The spla/m in opposition has its changed name to old SIM of 1991. There is a plan for opening the training fields, training the soldiers and bringing in foreign troops to fight kiir and the dinka out of power. Akol and macher believe that their collaborated effort is worthy the time of pairing together now than when macher made the uneccessary coup attempt without him. UN is behind the deal with the support. General olony is mr. Akol commander in chief in the shilluk kingdom and he respects the orders of his kinman, and that is the reason he is responding to his new call. Their an hour friendship is a political survival for the present time not of the past. The two doctors want to accomplish their long started project for crimes. It is not by surprise to learn this news last month that mr. Akol had been suspected beforehand and it happened as predicted earlier. He is showing up late to recover lost time to macher. The accusation of ngok dinka, on the other hand, for the death of shilluk’s general wango was an intended act from mr. olony himself to cover up this folding event, as a reason for his break away. Why he sent wango there without enough body secruities? Poor shilluks, poor dinkas and poor nuers are the victims of selfish thinking against them. In the end these instigators of war will eat together and the poors will eat their broken hearts and pains these unwarranted politicians brought to them. Peace is better than the raging endless war.

      Dear brothers and sisters,
I am not playing with God and I am not also a prophet, but I am just a simply man of God who God calls to do his works. Stop calling me Prophet, but I am working with God in heaven not a gods you think. Because of misunderstanding and rejection,Israelis have been suffering because of rejecting their God messages. Brothers and sisters, I say and say God has always look people hearts, but not people eyes. In fact, I believe God will judge me if I am playing with Him, but if I am not playing with Him, God will be continuing working with me. In addition, I am not a war supporter and there is no one day I pray for Southern Sudanese to kill themselves over the leadership or Kingdom ship like people say.
For your information, I fought for ten years with North, but when Southern Sudanese turned a gun to one another in 1991 I asked God to take me away and God did it; I was around Juba when I asked God. At midnight, God comes with dreams and says go I say where am I going then the dreams stop. In same morning, I got information that there are people going to Kukuma so I remember the dream and I went and asked them to take me with them, but I was not in the list. Because God told me to go, I went in the car without question; travelling with them without anybody asked me where am I going. No foods, but God provides me. I arrived in Kukuma in 1994, but in 1995 God told me this is not your destination, your destination is a place where you never been before and I am taking you to that place to go and learn about me and learn how to love your people and people around the world.
Brother I know you will never believe what I am saying, but God believes this. God is looking my heart I love every tribes in South Sudan because God calls me to love them, but not to hate any tribe . Yesterday I talked to one of my friend he thought I am a one of the tribes he supports and this is what he said yesterday ( he said, all Danka are deserved to be killed all and all their children have to be burning alive. They Dinka are stupid and no any tribes in South Sudan love them and they have no border to go if they go to North all the Arab will complete them. This is what I said to him: we are all children of God and we need to love one another. Killing is not a solution, solution of the conflict is peace and love, we should have to pray for peace in stead of killing one another all. Brothers and sisters we need to change this spirit of killing one another and ask God to bring the peace and love. We should not have to united and pray over one tribe to be killed all. I do not know whether God will allow that to happen because God loves any single of us no matter how much we hate one another. United for love, but not for killing.

  6. Akwat says:

    Dear Francis,
Don’t play with God’s word. God never and will not be an oppressive God. He is a God of justice and everything that is good. The Israelite people led by Joshua after the death Moses were doing the exact what God had instructed them to do in order to possess the Canaanites’ lands; in other words, the promised lands. The government of South Sudan is fighting for it itself, not for the people of South Sudan as you claimed here. This government is killing innocent people including the army they used now in fighting.
Let me tell you who God would fight for; just read these two portions of the Scripture, Jer.7:5-7; Ps. 146:7-9. Analyze it by yourself and see if God stands with the one who does wicked things. And compare them with what the government and its agents are doing in the country. God doesn’t favor those who do evil deeds be it individuals or the government.

  7. Francis Mangok Angeir says:

I am not commenting, but I am telling the messages. This message is to President Kiir and Riek Machar. God says, ask me to win if you are fighting on behalf of Southern Sudanese as large, but if you are fighting as tribalism fighter please do not waste your time. Because Joshua used to asked the God of Israel to win the war, Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the Lord has said to Moses (Joshua 11: 23). Brothers and Sisters God granted the land to you, but if there is anybody fight to take this land back because of leadership unfortunately God will never let him win this war even though they fight for twenty years they will never. I know you will hate me and never believe what I am saying, but God will never let me stop to tell His truth messages. Peace will come through God thanks.

This country call South Sudan is a land of confused people. This man called Oliny fought tirelessly on the side of the gvt and caused a lot of destruction in the Shilluk land. Many of his people, shilluk died in the war. Worse, he abducted school children. He killed a lot of the freedom fighter of SPLM-IO. Now that he has seen the bad tribal gvt of the Dinka Council of Elder, he begins running away from the brutal hands of Kiir’s gvt.
Gen. Oliny should have known from the beginning. The cause of this war was the brutal annihilation of the Nuer people in Juba. Why he joined the enemy to orchestrate the killing of the innocent Nuer is a question he will answer in future.
This war in South Sudan will continue raging untill people like Gens. Bapiny and Gony come to their sense of civility. The Nuer people are being killed, villages burnt, women raped and torture. The Nuer Generals in Kiir army keeps looking at with no mercy. They can not say to all these atrocities committed to their people. Shame on you Gens. Matthew, Gony and Bapiny.
This corrupt gvt should be destroyed a new leadership should emerge.
I know of some soud minded Dinka who dont support this failed gvt. The fact that Kiir is a Dinka shouldn’t make us generalize Dinka tribe to be bad. Among the Dinka tribe there are people who are capable of leading this country. Why keep this monster. This man should go.
Go to Rumbek, Warrap, NBG and see for youself how his fellow Dinka people are suffering. People are dying of hunger, preventable sicknesses. This man should either opt to step down for his own dignity and save the nation or face the wrath of the masses. The civilian will rise and kick him out.
    Thanks,

      Dear brother False Millionaire
Your are welcome. We only work for a free country in which every body regardless of tribe, sex, gender, and creed is treated and protected equally by the law. It is doable and we must strive for it.

    • Eastern says:

      False Millionare,

By saying “I hope this new offensive does not lead to victimization of the cholla people” are you insinuating that the are untouchable and must not be confronted at all? You are clearly insinuating that the act of Johnson Olony which is in self defence is an act of provocation, yet he lost a colleague recently. When have the chollo people lost their right to self defence?

When Dinkas were killing Nuers in a Juba for almost a week in December 2013. Did the Nuers provoke the dinkas? What followed in Akobo, Bor, Malakal, Bentiu, etc is what the dinkas and nuers have been at the better part of their recorded history: you kill one of us; we avenge regardless of the number. What I know in dinka and Nuer culture is for instance if two lads in a cattle camp brawl and one of them is killed, the relative of the deceased will be pleased to avenge the death of their son by killing one of the most ‘valuable’ person from the family of the killer, say a government worker or a relative from abroad – so folks from these community are aware of this practice and they are cautious when visiting their villages.

That said, the no single tribe in South Sudan must not be given the clout of invincibility. The information I am getting is, a helicopter gunship has been downed already and the fighting is raging on. What follows the current mayhem is untold suffering occasioned by famine, diseases and mass displacement.

I very much agree with Dr. Lam Akol’s latest call for the setting up of a forum for an interim government. Yes, the possibility of forming an interim government must be discussed by South Sudanese. http://www.sudantribune.com/spip.php?article55011

What do you think False Millionaire?

      • info@southsudannation says:

        Eastern,
Lam Akol’s call for a forum for establishing an interim government looks utterly naive and just impracticable. Who is going to be included in such a sterile forum and what would this group of politically sterile members in the forum go about forming the interim group and then get down on their knees and beg Kiir to ‘please go back to Mayardit village as you are now no longer the president?’

Remember, Garang used to warn those South Sudanese politicians still in Juba and Khartoum who didn’t join the SPLM yet that they should never hope to be in the government when they never join the struggle.

Perhaps, it’s time Lam hurriedly joined the Agwelek forces of Olong and help others push Kiir out of Juba forever.
        Editor

        • Eastern says:

          Dear Editor,

You may call Dr. Lam’s call naive but his is one of the many options now on the table for stabilising the country.

The first phase of IGAD led peace jokes did not produce any reasults; IGAD-plus has failed to take off and now Dr. Lam has called for the establishment of a forum to deliberate on an interim government because there is no hope patched up government of Salva Kiir that is driving the country aground. The extension of Kiir’s tenure in J1 by the SSLA is not a legitimate move – the whole process is nugotory rendering the current government illegitimate.

Let’s give the benefit of doubt to the call of Dr. Akol and have some faith in ourselves as South Sudanese to provide some solutions to our problems. Of course this proposed forum will provide South Sudanese the opportunities to look at various options of running the country including becoming an UN Trustee!

Now that the military option is not going to provide a decisive solution and IGAD seems to be painstakingly slow, let South Sudanese try this latest proposal.

          • info@southsudannation says:

            Eastern,
My concern and of many others is, will Kiir and his gang voluntarily and unconditionally give up power in Juba and allow themselves to face the consequences that might follow?
For instance, if the forum then decides that Kiir and gang be arrested and tried for crimes committed during his presidency, will Kiir just surrender so easily?
Finally, who should be appointed leader of the country after Kiir surrenders the presidency…. of course, I hope none of those cursed so-called leaders of the accursed SPLM would ever get that chance of leading the country ever again.

          • Joana Adams says:

            Eastern
I agree with this proposal. The leaked AU report gives a reasonable suggestion of a collegial presidency composed of 3 persons one from each of the former regions. Instead of the government running around imposing its own so called home grown solution, let the people decide in a forum composed not of political parties because most lack legitimacy, but by equal representatives from the three regions. The consultation should be extended to those in the diaspora.
For the first 3 years, they should rotate every 12 months, extendable for a further 3 years. The former 3 regions should start brainstorming among themselves to select 3 possible candidates out of who one will be selected and the other two will deputise. Since there is so much animosity between the two regions or tribes, Equatoria should start the rotating presidency to give the nation confidence.
Since Kiir’s term is expiring on 8th July, there is need in my view to float the proposal in the leaked document to form a supreme council of 3 individuals from the three former region to start collective governing of the country by 9thJuly. To ensure the collegial council is representative, each nominee from a region should be deputised by two colleagues. They should be supervised as suggested in the leaked document. This collegial leadership can be militarily supported by the AU/UN forces, the oil revenue supervised by African Development,IMF and the world Bank to stop the kleptocrats getting their hands on the revenue.
This sort of political arrangement can usher in a new phase of peace and reconciliation. It will also be in line with indigenous African mode of governance which is based on consultative democracy or ruling by consensus. This will stop us from falling into the trap of individuals abusing power in the name of democracy. We need also to offer the suspected war criminals, a face saving exit strategy. The emphasis in the short term should be luring the protagonists to leave power and stop the war to give the country a chance and to enable the process of reconcilliation and reconstruction to start. The transitional justice should be the second phase of the interim process.

This formula should take into account gender and ethnic representations within each of the former regions. Who knows, such a home grown proposal may be acceptable to IGAD plus as well as the warring parties and the Internal community as a whole. Something is better than nothing, although I can see the point of the Editor.

I am praying for the change of life and change of leadership in South Sudan. I pray enough is enough if there is no peace come to South Sudan at this time it will be better for God to let these three confusing leaders go home and rest in their houses. Kiir, Riek and Akol are ready for retirement because women and children are suffering under their leadership. I believe God will bring the leader who love Southern Sudanese and it does not matter he/ she will come. God can bring the faithful leader from any tribes in South Sudan to lead people of South Sudan in peace. I cry, cry and cry when I see our children and women dying under the trees, but no any leader can feel it. What kind of leaders are we supporting, the leaders who do not see the suffering of their people since 1983. Is it a right time for these children and women to die for diseases and lack of foods and clear water to drink?
I believe God will hear my voice at this time and I believe from now to December South Sudan will see the change God makes. When I left the war is because of killing one another and still today I do not support of killing one another. I pray if God brought me to this country to have a good life God will never hear my voice to bring the change to South Sudan, but if God brought me to this country for purpose change will come to children and women of South Sudan.
Brothers and Sisters, I believe God calls me for love and I feel very hunger to see my people happy. Everyday I feel sick when I see you killing one another over the leadership, but it is not what God wants us to be. God wants us to love one another and enjoy our country fruit of peace. God gives us our country to develop, but not to destroy.
What these leaders are going to tell God, Killing your own people who born with you, destroy your people properties, hatred and tribalism. I do not know what kind of leaders are you! The leaders who do not see the suffering of children and women under trees. Do you think God is not watching you? Because God is a one who created these children and women that you are punishing. Why do you love to destroy the future of these Southern Sudanese children? I pray for the change of leadership if there is no peace to these suffering children and women. God bless them

And I can i sure you that the only person who can stop this war and bring peace and stolen public money back to the government account is Dr Lam. people some time should tell a truth even if you dislike the person. On the other hand however there is no different between Kiir and Riek , except their names but their charter are the same, in that sense you are right to say that they shouldn’t (Dr Salva Kiir and Dr Reik Machar) come back to grab the power and to abuse it again, and you should leave Dr Lam Akol alone, he is our salvation to reform our country to a better future and place to live that you can call it as home for all our citizen regardless their tribes, genders, if you don’t accept him as leader unless you are a tribalism person and that why hate him. Yes there is some Shilluk guys whom are corrupted in which they have join their comrades in SPLM corrupt party, in which they all managed to loot and take away our public money such Pagan Amum and Gen. Can you as well ask why South Sudanese are not rushing yo Europe using Libya as the gateway?

    • GatCharwearbol says:

      Brother BILL KUCH,

If rejecting oppressive attitude and manner is tantamount to being fake, let it so be. The behavior of your people will one day surprise all of you. My advice is to see things both in your perspective and consider them from the perspective of your allege fake heart opponent. You lost him because of your behavior. Now it has become a big deal. You killed even those in your support or fighting on your behave. Do you really think they won’t react to your negative behavior toward them? Please, talk to your field commanders to respect those from other ethnic groups fighting alongside you; otherwise, the scale will tip over without you knowing it. I wish your commanders continue in that path, it will simply precipitate your downfall. Do the same thing you did to Olony to Pul Jang and Nguen Montuil, that will go Unity State.

      • BILL KUCH says:

        GatCharwearbol,
I am glad you addressed me as your brother and that is alright for we can be brothers online and enemies in the field. And one thing I could not agree with you is what you said; ‘that behavior of my people would surprise us or me one day’, and that’s the statement I would never buy into. Well, to be honest with you, in Dinka communities, surprises of awful things people of South Sudan and Sudan have done to us as a tribe is obsoleted in our Dinka Communities and it should not anguish us no more. However, that agony is going to be with Nuer communities for decades for they never been in this situation before and I hope the war you chose will be continuous until all Dinkas join it. You might not know, but Nuers never fought with commitment during the longest civil war between South and north Sudan. Moreover, the problem with Nuers is false beliefs in superstitions and their braveness claim which lacks tactical ways of fighting other than dopiness. Now, look how your war miscalculation got you into!!!

        • GatCharwearbol says:

          Mr. BILL KUCH,

There is nothing new to Nuer brought by this war. Perhaps, the only new added to the mixed is the used of Cluster Bomb. During Samuel Gai Tut’s era, you colluded with Ethiopian and others, we were able to managed. Our numbers were reduced but we picked up again. In 1991, you colluded against us with the very Uganda, we managed again. The Uganda and the Dinka did it to us again in 2013, we are still managing. So, there is nothing new. It is business as usual. Bentiu was reduced to ashes in the beginning of this war and we managed to deal with it. It is now reduced to ashes again, believe me, we are coming back to it. Yes, you are in the better position in this war, but it will get to your skin sooner or later. More surprises coming your way.

          • BILL KUCH says:

            GatCharwearbol,
You know very well that the change you need would be possible only when Dinka is included. And if I am wrong, then you need to prove it. Otherwise, you can not build a strong nation without pillars. So, in this case, South Sudan is like a Luak whereby Dinkas are its pillars. And if you go ahead building it regardless of right materials then it must collapse right after.

    Eastern,
Monsieur l’expert, the rest of the content of your dispatch is up to the point.Just a small contradiction to correct.”I hope this new offensive does not lead to victimization of the chollo people”,was brother Elhag’s phrase to whom I have accredited by quoting. If I agree with him in a so seeming face value manner,it’s for the same reasons that you have correctly explained. That for dinka and nuers, the prevailing habit is that if a fellow kinsman is kilt by a person from another tribe,he is revenged by killing,”one of the most valuable person from the family of the killer”.That is that habit that aggravated human losses during the events of 15 December 2013.

But you being an expert and a fellow south Sudanese citizen,we both know too well that chollo’s mentality is never too different from that of the dinka and nuer. All of them are nilotics with the same mind-set to revenge the killing of a fellow kinsman by killing somebody from the family of the killer.Brother Elhag’s concern is very genuine and must be taken very seriously giving the context of the unfolding political and military events in Malakal.I am more than certain that,as it should be the case in brother Elhag’s thinking,an ordinary dinka or chollok may never make an effort to see that the events are masterminded by urban political elites. That if a chollok or a dinka man dies,it has nothing to do with ordinary affairs of the two tribes. But instead, they would go at each other without mercy like the dinka and nuers did following the unfortunate events of 15 December 2013.I pray for God’s mercy in the next following days and weeks.

As for an interim government as a step of solution,I am not in disagreement!!!

Sorry for drifting off in French……….

We need to jointly salvage South Sudan from its current downwords spiral into the abyss orchestrated by the two warring SPLA camps. If this mayhem is not brought to a speedy stop by those two parties or a third party, with or without the consent/participation of the two aforementioned parties, history will condemn South Sudanese who are not directly involved in the parties as accomplices to the crime of shredding the country into tatters! South Sudan is bigger than each of the two SPLA camps, dinka and nuer tribes combined.

Others think involving the AU-UN is surrendering the hard-earned freedom of South Sudanese to “outsiders”; what do you think?

How others will take it, the proposed collegial presidency proposed in the leaked AU report seems to provide a better option in the face of the current mayhem. Many South Sudanese are still attached to the three former Provinces/Regions of Southern Sudan now split into ten states (officially) and this fact is not about to change soon. A collegial president from one of the regions and two deputies from each of the other regions serving for one year is a great idea.

Famine of an epic proportion is looming in most parts of Greater Bahr el Ghazal, there is a lot of suffering in Greater Upper Nile already and Greater Equatoria is experiencing virtual peace. Let South Sudanese come together and craft a home-made solution without the undue influence of “our leaders”.

Faux Millionaire ,que pensez-vous? What do you think?

The truth is every one condemned what transferred in Dec 2013 that led to the massacre of our Nuer Civilians and some of us are still mourning it.

Otherwise, the idea some of you think Dr Riek will win may not be possible if the defecting groups keep on having their separate rebellions without teaming/linking up together with Dr Riek meaning they will be negotiating only for their self-interest at their own given time(s) not for the whole country peace. What I mean is rebel groups may be coming back to Govt one by one living the whole national issues unresolved

Dr Riek for this matter may only win if he overthrows Kiir by capturing Juba and strategic palaces in South Sudan but not through negotiation table because Kiir is not ready to leave the sit through negotiation either. Kiir may die any time from now, and his remaining group may ensure Dr Riek do not take leadership as well. An option may be the leaked AU report strategies only can work much better.

There is already a perception also by some non Nuer and Non dinka that the Nuer may be more notorious than dinka and some of your writings are proofing this although I do not agree with people who like generalizing things.

Taban Deng Gai was contented with the paltry six kilometers of paved road connecting Rubkona and Bentiu, just enough to take him from his home to the State Secretariat (his office).

When Equatorians tried to point out the excesses of the government, the dinka and nuers thought they were crying wolf. Where did you get the 90% figure from if I may ask.

South Sudanese should rise to the occasion and circumvent Riek and Kiir to end the current conflict if the two
cannot sort out their differences. South Sudan cannot remain at war perpetually; Ramaran and my dinka friends must get this clear! No mincing words here.

    Easter,

Sincérement je suis d’accord. On ne peut jamais faire mieux dans les circonstances actuelles. It’s just very unfortunate that things are not limited to me,you and the rest of the forces of good will.Brother Eastern,as you have predicted, many people will die of hunger this year in Bahar el Ghazal and Upper Nile.Equatorian country side will suffer less as with peace, the rural masses will manage to subsist with ancient means of survival like hunting, fishing and continuing to farm for the next year. But the urban masses will suffer greatly becouse the economy is on the brink of collapse if it has not collapsed already. So there will be no money to pay salaries and as such no one can buy food for his family even if there is food in the market.A most frightening generalized scenario of day light urban and high way armed gang crimes is unfolding.

In brief, consider the status quoe down to the end of the year and you can have a very credible assumption that RSS and the society will have collapsed.I like your argument and the concern that you express becouse in reality what’s at stake is our country and the society. One has to love his country and society to be restless in that manner.I hope every one would take you seriously as I do.

En vous souhaitant bonne nuit mon cher ami, merci!!!

    • Eastern says:

      Dear Patriotic South Sudanese,

We cannot allow the country to remain in its present state due to the incalcitrant attitudes of the SPLA-Kiir and SPLA-Riek to peace. Let us join hands with individuals and groups willing to bring the current conflict to an end.

The government is spending colossal amount of money to wage the war passing its responsibility of catering for its citizens to the international community, how disgusting! In the last ten days, millions of US dollars was lost in the Greater Upper Nile alone in terms of military equipment, men and other military ancillaries. Who will account for all this?

      False Millionaire, over to you!

      • Eastern,

Blah Blah without reasonable judgment and action will not change SPLA-Kiir and SPLA-Riek.

        • Eastern says:

          Bentiu Ramaran,

Stop this thinking that ‘action’ required to bring SPLA-Kiir to order is through the barrel of the gun. If you think that’s the only option available, you are in for a long haul, buddy.

Seventeen months and counting, what has the military option yielded so far. Garang’s SPLA waged armed resistance for more than two decades but at the end of it all, peace was achieved through negotiations; others will fiendishly argue that the heat of the battle drew Al Bashir to the negotiation table, that’s their opinion.

Don’t expect every agrieved South Sudanese must be aligned to the two belligerents only. Time for following cult leaders is long gone!

          • Eastern,

You used to make patriot comments that others and I can learn from. However, nowadays your comments do not make any sense at all because you sounds like Nikalongo, whose comments are always Dinka killed Nuer and Nuer Killed Dinka. Your comments such as Dinka-Kiir and Nuer-Riek or SPLA-Kiir and SPLA-Riek are all naïve and baseless.

I never been against your comments, but this time I do. Yes, I agree with you that there is no change through gun. However, understand that there is no change without gun either. Gun and dialogue work together.

President Bashir accepted the dialogue with SPLA after fierce fighting. Without real fighting President Bashir would not had accepted negotiation with Southerners. Dialogue alone cannot bring you Independent and cannot give you freedom either. If dialogue alone can bring independent, change, and freedom, then Chinese could have been moved out from Tibet many years ago and Tibetans could be enjoying their freedom in their own country today.

Although you will disagree with me, if you guys own your own country without us, then you would have been like people of Tibet by now.

          • Nikalongo says:

            Ramaran,

Those talks of Dinka and Nuer liberated us others is a bunch of nonsense. Guns in the hands of hooligans is not an instrument of liberation. Do you know how much time the people of South Sudan and the neighboring countries used in convincing the Nuer and Dinka leaders to refocus their attention on the common enemy (North)? That is what we have in South Sudan today. Just like now, you (Nuer) and your cousins the Dinka used up most of your times fighting each other and committing war crimes on your people (Dinka and Nuer) and beyond (Equatoria).

Dinka killed Nuer (2013) and Nuer killed Dinka (1991) phrase is true. It would be a lie to say otherwise. Ramaran, it is a shame sharing this country with you.

          • Nuer-Another Israel in East Africa says:

            Nikalongo,

If it is a shame sharing this nation of ours with Bentiu Ramaran, you are free to roll your piece of land and move with it to wherever you deem necessary. If not, hang yourself.

          • Nikalongo says:

            Another Nuer,

It is you, Ramaran and your cousins the Dinka that we will roll out of Equatoria should South Sudan collapse. Remember, you will take along those lying in their graves along.

  29. John Magelwath says:

To all Traitors who have been singing the songs of chaos and imaginary “defeat of SPLA government forces”,

Where are your supposed victors now as I write this statement? They are on the run and some are already at the bottom of the Mighty Nile River feeding the creatures of the world’s longest river! South Sudan and the aspirations of the Patriotic South Sudanese is much bigger than that of the numerous traitors and sellouts who have nothing to offer South Sudan but sabotage and constant back-stabbing.

Yes, Salva Kiir as an individual may have his shortcomings and so are many others in the system, but is he equal to South Sudan as a country? Why burn the towns and destroy hard won properties and land of South Sudan, which existed long before and will continue to exist long after Salva Kiir, because of him the one man? Upper Nile as a region has become nothing more than a den of mindless and traitors beasts in forms of humans, who have little or total disregard to the nation’s long term future. President Salva Kiir and his monotonous pardoning of traitors is to blame, he need to show decisiveness and make hard decisions, hang and firing squad all the traitors where ever they are found, so that the children of this country will be able to find peace. Indeed, the appeasement policy of Kiir Mayardit has destroyed the nation at large and the gallant SPLA forces in particular.

He keep awarding highest ranks to traitors who killed and maimed the people of South Sudan and put them in charge of the very committed and self-less liberators of the mother SPLA forces, who remains stagnant in ranks and demoralized by neglect of the C-in-C. Wake up Kiir Mayardit and take proper charge of the nation or quit the leadership before patriotic South Sudanese are finished one by one by traitors who sides with enemies of our motherland. The likes of Elhag Paul, a man seriously sick of Dinka-Phobia made a premature celebration in the false hope that his comrades in betrayal will triumph over the forces of constitution and order. Olony and his associate must be caught and executed in the broad day light, so that this cycle of treason among the growing numbers of traitors is deterred. I wish I could wake up Dr. John Garang De Mabior, the man who knew how to contain traitors!

No more room for rewarding treason over loyalty to the nation, Mr. President. Else you shall be abandoned all together if you continue to trade lives of patriots with Traitors’ never lasting alliances. The Dinka Padang have been betrayed by indecisiveness of both the C-in-C and the Military High Command led by Paul Malong. Cde Malong better focus on defeating these traitors instead of doing other things that are not helpful to the nation. Death to all traitors and may the blood of martyrs who liberated this country sock you all down into the soil of motherland.

Thank you Brother James Gatdet Dak for the update.
To begin with, first I would want to register my thanks to the South Sudan Nation blogger who has had all that it takes for accommodating all negative and unproductive opinions; and those that are building blocks in support for unity in diversity.
Many commentators here have all reacted or made references to scriptures rather than found solutions to the current situations with regards to specifically the nutty gritty matters that have mashroomed to the current ongoing conflicts and destruction in the entire country.
Needless to point fingers, but the imperatives of this wholesome war arise from the inequality bred by one ethnic group that is represented through a governmental system, which has failed to identify the sole responsibility of nation building conceptually, in aspects of recognizing what it takes to be a country with regards to political, economic and social integrity of a fragile country such as south Sudan that has had a history of racism (tribalism), cronyism, oppression and thirst for power.
I would say, those who oppress need to be liberated, and therefore, the oppressor needs liberation.
I would want to advise those who make spiritual references, but without respecting the truth, that they should refrain from unnecessary analogy and allusions that don’t add up.
Now, to be more analytically responsive to my intended audience:
From the Biblical perspective, don’t ever compere south Sudanese conflict to the Mosaic and Joshua movements that were directed by God. For in Moses’ time, he was in the Pharaoh’s palace where God purposely placed him.
Moses didn’t take from Egyptian public nor did he take from the Pharaoh’s wealth, but rather, he, Moses only cared for his people, period! Without prejudice to all other deformities of the children of Israelite, what was purposed by God was to happened. Yes, Moses murdered an Egyptian for mistreating his fellow Israelite, but in the case of South Sudan, who mistreated Dinka or Salva Kiir? Yes, God loves both sinners and the righteous, but we cannot dwell upon the corrupt ethnically charged system of government that has succeeded in dividing the whole country, but not abiding by the tenet of human rights.
What has transpired are what have been marinaded and cooked while the movement was still in the bushes (i.e., SPLA/M) that was to promote the Dinka agenda of hegemony, which looks very primitive in the modern world where there are UN Charters and humanity is valued, but it’s clear that those who have orchestrated the ethnic hegemony over other ethnic groups of south Sudan may regret when other ethnic groups may decisively opt for secession.
Some will be bouncing like footballs, but the reality is true because you cannot think of yourself as superior to others.
Thus, the current system of governing, including the staunch “Dinka Elders” will disintegrate the whole country into nations and they will by reduced into minority within minority (Word of Prophesy). Or else, fragmented nations will stay at peace when they have opted for referendum to secede from the whole country.
Those who have stolen public money should confess and return the monies rather than hide those monies around the world. You will eat blood in your stomachs and your children’s children will carry the curses along all the generations to come. This is so because most of the ethnic communities in south Sudan have lost their loved ones during the long civil wars.
And to those who still support the current government, you are just not different from those children of Israel who brought with them idols that the kept worshiping even while in times of trials in the wilderness. So, take heed to the word of God and don’t misinterpret God’s words to suit your political aspirations. No one hates Dinka tribe because Dinka are created by God, but those who follow blindly their leaders or elders, they are just not different from Lucifer who was proud of being decorated beautifully and matched with his followers and ultimately they match to hell because they didn’t know what God’s next plan was.
Thanks and hope there are forthcoming groups who will confess and step down in order to save the country called South Sudan, but remember Isaiah 18.
And finally, all those who are engaged in sinful ways of misrule, murder, sorcery, ethnicity and power are Christians or Moslems, but to those who claim to be Christians and sit at the front of the alter, what you are advocating in south Sudan is just the works of the devil because God didn’t tell south Sudanese that one day south Sudan will be ruled by Dinka or Nuer for 100 years.
For being a Christian means that you may have the mind of Christ Jesus: Whatever makes a good Christian makes you a good citizen. If you are a good citizen, you must pray for broken families or pray against broken homes and also pray for how to lift up the whole country, but not killing the whole country. What have you achieved? You are killing God’s Children (Sinners and the Righteous)
If you are not armed for a battle, you will fight a wrong battle. You will not be able to listen to the inner side of the Holy Ghost. For the battle that we battle and the anger or hatred we hungover are the spirits of the devil, but not of God.
Do not politicize God’s words and appoint spiritual leaders to support your evil cause.
    Blessings

    Batali,
You revised your own opinion wrongly in regard to national crises we are facing. Dinka and all the tribes in the south are responsible for anything that makes the war unaviodable. There are lows and highs of cons and pros, but being the majority doesn’t not mean that you shoulder the responsibility even when your subordinates act contrary on their own with less regard to a nation building. Nuer and the campany are contributing to the failure of the state while lying in detail that they are not. What is happening is riek’s continuation for power and nuer tribe is leaping together with their man. The failed coup and the current rebellion would have not occured if you do care in the manner of a nationhood and not chasing a short glory for nuer tribe. You blame dinka because you open up another frontline to make your case on the internet. Praising opposition lair in the name of gadet dak underscores public interest in macher’s camp. The spreading lies about victories with no grounds will always come short to be taken seriously, and the image of the opposition is suffering from deception and dishonesty. Let change for the better so that we fall together.

  35. Batali says:

Follower and advocate of the devil! The devil is the father of all lies.Who killed Nuer in Juba? Who is going around terrorizing and grabbing land from other ethnic communities? The hatred for all tribes, but advocating that South Sudan is Dinka Country ( http://nyamile.com/2015/03/26/the-mission-of-dinka-council-of-elders-bona-malwal-madut-in-the-united-states/ )? What a delusion!
There is nothing to praise my friend, if you understand the UN charter of rights to defend yourself when attacked wrongly. Deception and dishonesty is of the making of people like you who see themselves, as better than other tribes. You are pathetic and short sighted!

Are you bragging about General Olony rebellion still? Well, I hope not! If you don’t get rid of those unworthy ideas that Dinka is your enemy as a tribe instead of teaming up with them. Then you are definitely wasting your time and probably your lives. Anyway, if it is a matter of one being a general then that is just a title but, nothing without people. We got more generals today then ever before and so we do have our own. I am proud for the fact Dr. John did right thing and not promoting himself to the rank of general. These generals of are there for the pay checks as it says it is, but embarrassing.

“Are you bragging about General Olony rebellion still? Well, I hope not! If you don’t get rid of those unworthy ideas that Dinka is your enemy as a tribe instead of teaming up with them. Then you are definitely wasting your time and probably your lives.” My friend, you are just a war monger and not educated enough. Thinking that south Sudanese have victimized Dinka as enemies is totally unreasonable thinking, but rather, it’s seen as fear. How can people team up with Dinka to fight who? Who are those that have fallen to be victims of Dinka actions? Look at the trail of events of Dinka actions all over south Sudan that are well documented and even most foreign countries, including neighboring countries know a tribe in south Sudan called Dinka to be the most rude and uncivilized, corrupt and savage charactered people.
So, don’t play as victims and stop threatening people.
In the history, Hitler murdered six million Jews, but at the end, he died by committing suicide, and other leaders that posed threats all went their ways. Be careful how you conduct yourself because everything here on earth has its time. Get reminded about the long civil war of Sudan that began in 1955 and that was extended by the SPLA/M. Those south Sudanese were perceived weak by the “strong” Arabs (Dinka now in South Sudan), where are all those strength gone?
Don’t threaten people with death! You also have an appointment with death. You cannot live forever and ever, but know that after death here on earth, God will judge you and I for what we have done. Did you “Dinka” love everyone in south Sudan or you wanted to be next to God?
    Be careful!

  40. BILL KUCH says:

    Batali,
You are just a moron by calling a whole Dinka tribe uncivilized, corrupt, and savage people as if we are all in the government jobs. Well, the reality is that, you are one of those people in the above countries you have mentioned. Would you be able tell me that those countries you mentioned got no corruption, uncivilized people, and characters of their own? So, why not us? Second to that, you don’t believe in God and therefore; you should not be talking about God. You are rebel supporter and should have no time to talk about Olony or SPLA. Instead, you should join him in field in order for you to get rid of Dinka. And yes, I am aware and I know people do die, you will be dead, and so am I. It has been like that. If it was not like that then it could be a waste of time to fight because no one who is going to walk away to escape death. Dinkas die and they are not going somewhere else other than Dinkaland.

  41. Batali says:

My friend, you can call those countries morons for their calling the “Dinka tribe uncivilized, corrupt, and savage people”. Look at what happened to Oling’s deputy who was sent to discuss with Dinka elders how to move those Dinka grabbing land everywhere in Malakal, but then that didn’t mean anything to the Dinka and the deputy got killed. So, why do you always defend your (Dinka) wrongs?
